Chapter 303: Causing Chaos at the Rain King's Manor

Chapter 303: Causing Chaos at the Rain King's Manor

"Who are you, exactly?" the Rain Clan members shouted angrily. Surrounded by so many onlookers, they refused to be made a laughingstock, a spectacle for the crowd.

The street was packed with people, all of them watching with amusement. The Rain Clan was having terrible luck, having their gates shattered twice in a row—truly an unlucky streak.

"There’s nothing to say. No matter where you come from, for the crime you’ve committed today, you must die!" This was a near-hysterical roar.

The Rain Clan had never suffered such a loss, but today they had been repeatedly provoked.

Shi Hao's lips curled into a cold smile. The Rain Clan had always been strong and domineering, but they had been encountering problems recently. He could tell their anger was bubbling up inside them.

He didn’t care about their fury. He had come here to fight, and the more frenzied they became, the calmer he was, as if he was merely a bystander.

"I’m the one who sent you that gift," Shi Hao said softly.

"What? That head was sent by you?" someone shouted in fury. This was a blatant provocation. Sending a severed head to their door and then coming in person to cause trouble was intolerable.

Some were filled with rage, but others began to feel uneasy. The other party was so calm and confident—he couldn’t be ordinary.

At that moment, there was a commotion in the street. The sound of iron hooves thundered as the Rain Clan forces, who had been dispatched to surround Tiger Gate Inn, returned, charging through the crowded street.

"Where is Yu Mu?" a strong figure shouted in front of the shattered gate.

"Lord Yu Mu has fallen!" someone on horseback responded with a sob. None of their leaders had survived; they had all been killed. They reported the truth.

"Useless!" a strong figure from the Rain Clan roared. So many of them had gone to hunt down one person, and not only had they failed to kill him, but he had also come here before them.

In fact, some of these riders had tried to rush back earlier to report the news, but Shi Hao had caught up with them on the way and killed them all.

They hadn’t made it back before Shi Hao, leaving the Rain Clan’s members furious, their faces dark with anger, thinking their riders were utterly incompetent.

On the street, cultivators from several major clans had gathered. Hearing the news, they all laughed and began discussing.

"Is the Rain Clan really done for? It’s bad enough that they were suppressed by the Demon God, but now they’re being stirred up by a mere boy. What face do they have left?"

"Hmm, it’s true. Even if they manage to kill this boy, their reputation is ruined. Being attacked at their own doorstep—honestly, they might as well not have built that grand gate in the first place. Heh heh."

Hearing the murmurs from the crowd, the faces of the Rain Clan’s members grew colder. Some were fanning the flames, while others took pleasure in their misfortune. To the Rain Clan, it was nothing short of mockery.

"Kill him! No matter who he is, no matter where he comes from, he must be killed today!" An elder appeared and waved his hand, signaling for the others to attack.

There was no need for more words. The only way to salvage their honor was to quickly eliminate this youth; otherwise, they would become the laughingstock of the entire capital—a humiliation beyond measure.

Four figures stepped forward in succession, all battle-hardened warriors of the Rain Clan. They had spent a long time honing their skills outside and had recently returned to the clan. Now, they surrounded Shi Hao, sealing off all directions.

One of them took out a bag and shouted, "Die!"

With a loud whoosh, a violent wind arose, and dust filled the air. The entire street trembled. Tiles flew off the roofs of distant houses, rising into the sky in an astonishing display.

At such a close distance, Shi Hao felt immense pressure. His heart tensed. What kind of bag was this? As soon as it opened, a whirlwind appeared, accompanied by blades of light that sliced through the air with a sharp sound.

"Clang!"

Shi Hao struck back with his palm, shattering some of the glowing, rune-covered blades. The wind grew stronger, making it difficult for him to stand.

Another person pulled out a drum and began beating it. Instantly, bolts of lightning erupted from the drum, striking toward Shi Hao with deadly precision.

The other two roared, causing dark clouds to roll in and torrential rain to pour down, enveloping Shi Hao below. The four of them attacking together caused the very heavens to change.

Fierce winds howled, lightning flashed, and rain poured down. The Rain Clan truly lived up to its name, controlling the weather itself and conjuring a storm right here.

Shi Hao was at a disadvantage. Both the wind and the rain were formed from runes, infiltrating every corner and constantly bombarding him. And the lightning—it was real, not just an illusion.

The rune-infused rain and lightning were savage, striking him relentlessly. Shi Hao’s body glowed with radiant light. He knew that if it were anyone else, their physical body would have been crushed by now.

But he endured and retaliated with strength. A void opened up behind him, and from it, a massive violet Suan Ni, marked with golden stripes, leaped out like a small mountain.

In the midst of the storm, the Suan Ni roared, releasing countless ball-shaped bolts of lightning, wild and untamed.

It was like a natural disaster. The lightning spheres spread rapidly through the rain, crackling and exploding, accompanied by booming thunder and blinding light, making everyone tremble.

"Ah!" The one holding the wind bag was immediately struck by a massive bolt of lightning, his body convulsing violently. Without anyone controlling it, the wind instantly died down.

"Roar!" The Suan Ni roared again, unleashing even more terrifying lightning. Purple thunder surged like a tsunami, sweeping across everything in its path.

The entire area was bathed in dazzling light, and not a single one of the four warriors could escape. All were struck by the lightning, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.

The one beating the drum and generating lightning was torn apart, his body exploding into a cloud of blood and chunks of flesh—an utterly gruesome sight.

In the blink of an eye, all four of the Rain Clan’s powerful warriors were crushed, utterly defeated. The result was shocking. Just one youth had swept through them, destroying four experts in a matter of moments.

"A purple Suan Ni… Are you…?" Among the Rain Clan members in the back, a few people's eyelids twitched as they began to suspect. Suddenly, they thought of that troublesome child.

Could it really be him? Their blood began to boil.

As the Suan Ni retreated into Shi Hao’s void, the storm dissipated, leaving behind a clear sky. The sunlight once again illuminated everything.

"Rain Clan, you’re not up to the task," Shi Hao said.

After everything that had happened, the Rain Clan hated nothing more than these kinds of taunts and condescension. The constant blows they had suffered filled them with rage and resentment.

"Kill him!" someone shouted, charging forward, brandishing a giant net forged from the tendons of a flood dragon. It descended swiftly like lightning.

Shi Hao was startled and quickly dodged, but this net was special. It followed him relentlessly, like a shadow, quickly catching up and entangling his body.

"The Immortal Binding Net!"

Someone gasped in surprise, and murmurs spread through the crowd. The Rain Clan had actually crafted such an artifact, one that pursued its target and wouldn’t stop until it caught its prey.

Shi Hao struggled with all his might, but the net's brilliance intensified, and countless runes lit up, nearly cutting into his flesh as they began to refine him.

"Quick, kill him!" the Rain Clan members shouted, rushing forward in a mass attack.

"Break!" Shi Hao roared, his entire body igniting with power. With a loud bang, the net snapped apart. At the same time, he unleashed his own techniques, swinging his palms. With each strike, several people were sent flying.

"What are you standing there for? Kill him now!" one of the Rain Clan’s elders roared.

At that moment, both the cavalry and the other experts charged forward together. Runes filled the air as they all attacked Shi Hao at once.

With a buzzing sound, Shi Hao unleashed the sword formation he had just acquired. Instantly, eight flying swords rose, stirring up a thousand layers of waves, their cold aura piercing, sending chills down the spine of those around him.

"Splurt!"

The iron cavalry at the front was split in half by a flying sword, both rider and beast cleaved into two, blood spraying everywhere.

"Swish!"

The second sword flashed by, severing the head of a powerful warrior, his headless body collapsing into a pool of blood.

The group of people charging forward only allowed the sword formation to reach its full potential, with nearly every strike hitting its mark. The power of the eight swords increased with each blow, their divine energy shaking the heavens.

The sound of heads rolling and beasts howling echoed continuously. In the blink of an eye, the area in front of Rain King's Mansion was littered with bodies.

Soon, the ground was soaked in blood, with dozens of severed heads and bodies of powerful warriors scattered across the ground. This scene stunned the entire street, causing everyone to tremble in fear.

This was still a mere youth, yet the Rain Clan’s elite warriors could not withstand him, falling like wheat before a scythe.

Shi Hao strode forward, causing the members of the Rain Clan to pale in fear and retreat continuously, as though they were facing a demon king. They were all terrified.

"Form a formation!" an elder shouted.

A series of formation flags appeared, flapping in the wind. This time, Shi Hao didn’t dare underestimate them. He had already merged with his undying golden body, his entire form radiating a brilliant black light.

Symbols appeared in clusters, and the flags roared as they expanded, seemingly reaching into the clouds, shrouded in mist and filled with thunder and lightning.

But it was still not enough to stop him. Shi Hao struck with a powerful palm, causing the black light to surge. The symbols exploded, and over ten large flags snapped. He shattered the formation and forced his way into the mansion.

"Where do you think you're going? Capture him!" several elders appeared, and one of them held up a treasure tower. With a flick of his hand, the tower expanded and enveloped Shi Hao, glowing with radiant light.

"Good, refine him!" the elders shouted.

The tower glowed, emitting divine rays like flames, beginning to burn. The entire structure shook, attempting to incinerate Shi Hao alive.

However, after only a brief moment, the tower quaked violently and expanded before exploding with a thunderous boom. Many people screamed in agony as the shattered pieces of the tower pierced through numerous Rain Clan cultivators, severely wounding them.

Shi Hao, bathed in black light, emerged, looking like a demonic god, utterly fearless as he charged forward. A group of people tried to stop him, but they were no match, coughing up blood as they were thrown aside, some even exploding from the impact.

"Boom!"

Shi Hao attacked again, and the vast courtyard in front of him collapsed, reducing the palace, pavilions, and halls to rubble and debris.

"As expected, the Rain King's Mansion is getting demolished again."

"The Rain King’s Mansion was always known for its strength, but now it’s been attacked twice, with the mansion torn down each time. Their reputation is in freefall."

Outside, countless people watched. Some sneered, while others sighed, all of it making the Rain Clan members both fearful and furious.

Standing atop the ruins, Shi Hao surveyed the surroundings with disdain, then advanced once more. With each strike, he demolished another majestic palace or courtyard, as though slapping the Rain Clan in the face.

"Who exactly are you?" someone shouted angrily.

"Who am I?" Shi Hao stopped, facing the crowd of Rain Clan members coldly, revealing his true face.

"What? It’s you!" The Rain Clan members cried out in shock.
