Stone Hao, this name is absolutely unfamiliar to many, never heard of before. But for a few important figures within the Rain Tribe, it is quite familiar and well-known.
Years ago, when Shi Yi’s mother sought aid within the tribe, the tribe dispatched a notable elder to help her obtain the Supreme Bone of a child named Stone Hao.
The incident was highly secretive, yet it sparked a series of repercussions, from Shi Ziling to the Great Demon God, extending to the present day, causing them considerable trouble.
None of this mattered much, as long as they held on, everything would change. After all, Shi Yi was about to grow up, and by then, he would be invincible in the world. Even if the truth was revealed, it wouldn't matter. Shi Ziling couldn’t do anything, and the Great Demon God was fearless. Even if everyone opposed, it would be impossible to suppress him.
Their only concern was the child from that year.
Because, through ancient texts and various legends, they had discovered a shocking truth. If that child survived and came back, he would become even more powerful, surpassing the past.
Now, an important figure from the Rain Tribe, using a Bone-Piercing Mirror, revealed Stone Hao’s divine soul. It was clear that he was of the same lineage as the Great Demon God and Shi Ziling. Moreover, a terrifying aura emanated from his chest, a sign that the Supreme Bone was regenerating, which served as sufficient evidence.
They had previously observed Shi Yi’s bone, and it emitted the same oppressive aura, unmatched in power.
“It’s him, truly the child from that year. He actually survived,” the middle-aged man quickly whispered to the elders around him, each of them turning pale.
Especially a few of the elders, whose expressions turned icy and whose gazes grew as gloomy as possible. This was unquestionably terrible news; how could this be?
They had expected that after losing the Supreme Bone and its accompanying blood essence, the child would die within a year or two and be erased from the world.
“Back then, a grave mistake was made. We should never have left him alive. It would have been better to tear our faces off, dig out the Supreme Bone, and directly kill him.”
An elder whispered, his gaze harsh. He felt some regret. Having lost the Supreme Bone, how could the child still survive, becoming a great threat?
“I knew it. Who else could open ten heavens? Except for someone like him, born anew from ashes, a naturally supreme being, who else could achieve such a feat?”
The important figures of the Rain Tribe were extremely shocked. It was too late for regret; they wished they could go back to the past, enter that underground palace, dig out the Supreme Bone, and then finish off the child.
“Everything is clear now. He’s imitating the Great Demon God, coming to demand an explanation, deliberately trying to make the Rain Tribe look bad,” one person said with hatred.
Some people never look for the cause within themselves, always blaming the world for their troubles.
“Kill him quickly. We cannot leave a future threat. If this youth grows up, he will definitely be a great calamity.”
“Indeed, we must eliminate him quickly. Otherwise, even if it’s Yi’er, it’s hard to say whether he can suppress him. After all, this is a naturally supreme being reborn through nirvana, with boundless potential.”
Without further thought, the Rain Tribe members quickly made a decision to suppress him as swiftly as possible.
However, when they considered killing him, they were troubled. The opponent was wearing black-gold battle armor, and his combat power had surged to the level of a prince or marquis, making him difficult to handle.
“Use all the ancestral formations and other preparations of the tribe. Set them up quickly. If necessary, even the tribal divine artifacts must be activated.”
Stone Hao smirked coldly, observing silently as he adjusted his breathing to bring his body to its optimal state, erasing the negative effects from the earlier battle with the Rain God’s projection.
Several Rain Tribe elders suddenly took action. The ruins ahead exploded, and the gateway was leveled, revealing an object. It was a bronze plaque that had originally hung above the gate.
“This is a formation map.”
Everyone was astonished to see that as the elders chanted spells, the plaque levitated, glowing with a hazy yellow light, and fixed itself in the air.
At the same time, several bone lamps rose from the fallen courtyard walls and the yard, flickering with brilliant light.
These were artifacts that had burst forth from underground, forming a large formation that trapped Stone Hao.
The Rain Tribe had prepared extensively, seemingly having anticipated this scenario. The seemingly breached courtyard had traps and backup plans.
There were four bone lamps and thirty-six war spears. As the bronze plaque trembled, these artifacts began a fierce assault, targeting Stone Hao.
“Whoosh.”
The thirty-six war spears flew out, striking repeatedly like beams of light, creating dazzling arcs across the sky, incredibly splendid.
The four bone lamps emitted ghostly light, casting green flames that scorched Stone Hao. They sealed off all directions, aiming to refine him in the center.
This was an ancient formation of the Rain Tribe, typically unused, but now employed to restrain Stone Hao. Others were quickly setting up preparations and planning their backup.
Stone Hao took out a broken sword and thrust it into the ground, using the artifact to destroy the formation patterns beneath the soil. At the same time, he raised his hand, and a celestial bowl appeared, seemingly capable of refining the heavens, resisting many attacks.
He then took out a stone box, summoning eight ferocious swords that slashed in all directions, clashing with the war spears, producing clanging sounds.
Subsequently, he flicked his hand, sending the stone box into the air, where the Eight Ferocious Sword Formation was set up, countering the Rain Tribe’s large formation.
“The Eight Ferocious Swords and the Formation Map.” The important figures of the Rain Tribe looked grim. These were rare treasures in their tribe, originally used to guard the gate. Now they were intact and used against them, which was quite frustrating.
“Clang.”
Sparks flew as a ferocious sword cut through two war spears, sending a shower of sparks. The swords were incredibly sharp.
The Rain Tribe members sighed. These eight ferocious swords were indeed valuable, crafted from ancient primal bones, unbreakable.
“Crack.”
Eventually, one bone lamp was also struck, a ferocious sword hitting it and knocking off a corner. The flame flickered, nearly extinguishing.
With the formation broken, Stone Hao leaped, his Celestial Bowl glowing, absorbing the essence of the four directions and collecting several war spears and a bone lamp, turning them into dust.
The bowl, made from a divine material, could melt many artifacts.
“The Rain Tribe is truly unlucky, with the Great Demon God before and now such a monstrous child. Today they will surely suffer a great loss of face.”
“This youth, who exactly is he? Did you hear that? The Rain Tribe seems to have sensed something. Using the Bone-Piercing Mirror to observe his divine soul and bloodline, what is his background?”
People on the streets and in the distant sky whispered and discussed softly.
The origins of the young troublemaker were a mystery. No one knew his past or where he came from, though the Rain Tribe seemed to have learned about his background.
But neither the troublemaker nor the Rain Tribe revealed it, which seemed very strange. People felt that once the troublemaker’s name was revealed, it might cause a huge stir.
“Just wait and see. I think his identity will be revealed soon. His aggressive approach indicates he must have some plan and will expose his identity,” someone speculated.
Within the Rain Tribe, a middle-aged man ran from the rear garden, looking distressed. “The Spirit has left; it’s not in the manor.”
“What? What happened? Where did it go, and when did it leave?” A Rain Tribe elder demanded, gripping his collar.
After the recent battle with the Great Demon God, the Rain Tribe deeply felt the instability in their imperial capital and decided to summon the ancestral guardian spirit to station here.
Although it was only a descendant of the ancient guardian spirit, it was still very powerful and could guard the area.
“It went to visit friends and should have left several days ago, leaving only a note,” the middle-aged man replied.
The faces of the Rain Tribe members turned ashen. How could such a lapse occur? They had not paid attention earlier because the guardian spirit disliked disturbances and generally no one approached that garden.
“There’s no other way. He is now a prince with great power. Trying to lure him into an ancestral formation might not work. To suppress him, we may have to use the Rain God’s decree,” an elder said.
They regretted that the guardian spirit was not present; otherwise, they would not need to use the decree today. It was a true divine artifact and generally should not be used recklessly.
“He must die. Otherwise, within a few years, he will become a great threat. He dares to come to our manor and cause trouble today. What will happen when he becomes a true prince in the future?” someone said coldly.
Killing Stone Hao was on everyone’s mind. He could not be left alive to avoid becoming a disaster.
Stone Hao sensed something was wrong. The strange actions of the Rain Tribe made him alert. He had been on guard and muttered, “The big spider is really patient. Why hasn’t it appeared yet? Wasting the opportunity to use the small tower here isn’t worth it.”
He began to retreat, just in case. He had already caused enough chaos today, making the Rain Tribe look foolish and losing face, which was a relief. Other matters could be dealt with later.
“There’s something I need here—the spiritual imprint left by the deity,” the small tower suddenly spoke.
Stone Hao was taken aback and immediately thought of the Rain God’s decree. He clearly stated that he would not waste this opportunity and would not use the small tower to deal with the Rain God’s imprint.
“This time doesn’t count. Use my power and your hands to collect the fragments of the decree,” the small tower said.
It clearly had great power but spoke mysteriously, saying that the world was balanced and that one had to lose something to gain something.
Stone Hao had always suspected that the small tower might be transferring some causal effects onto him because it was continuously using him for the needed exchanges.
But he could no longer afford to worry about that. He really needed its deterrent power.
“In fact, your indestructible golden body can also be partially repaired with the divine decree,” the small tower said.
Stone Hao gasped. How strong could his golden body be in its perfect state?
“You little beast, do you think you’re tough enough to challenge the Rain Tribe? Today, you will receive a lesson you’ll never forget, perhaps the last lesson because you won’t see the sun tomorrow,” a middle-aged man from the Rain Tribe shouted.
He hated the youth because his son had been killed by Stone Hao at Hundred Broken Mountains and never returned.
Boom.
In the deepest part of the Rain Tribe, a divine light erupted. There was an ancient temple with a small altar in the hall. Once opened, it revealed the divine decree.
A rain of golden light appeared, dazzling and blinding, spreading a vast and overwhelming aura that shocked everyone.
Not only did the entire street shake, but various places in the imperial capital also trembled. Everyone felt fear, their legs trembling and knees going weak, wanting to kneel.
However, Stone Hao was unafraid. It actually made him feel more at ease because the small tower was about to act.
In the depths of the Rain Tribe, it was as if the galaxy surged and volcanoes erupted. The light rain filled the sky, and the aura became even more astonishing.
“Young man, you’ve come to the wrong place. The Rain Tribe is not to be insulted by anyone. You can go to your death now,” an elder said coldly.
Suddenly, in front of the temple, the light rain dimmed in one area, as if the divine fire had been extinguished.
In the next moment, Stone Hao felt a wind by his ear, something entering the small tower as if it were gnawing at it. At the same time, he noticed a piece of golden paper stuck to him, attempting to merge with the indestructible golden body.
Initially, the paper was dazzling, but it soon dimmed.
The young troublemaker immediately felt unfair. He thought that these two entities were benefiting while he was left out. He took off the dimming piece of paper from his body and put it into his mouth.
Crunch.
He started biting down hard.
In the distance, important figures of the Rain Tribe rubbed their eyes vigorously, then their eyes widened in disbelief, and they all screamed in shock.
“How dare you!”
They saw what was happening—the guy was gnawing on a piece of the divine decree as if it were a carrot. Such a thing was happening in the real world.
Challenging the limits, moving on to write Chapter Five.
