Chapter 247: A Beautiful Rival

Chapter 247: A Beautiful Rival

"Why should I treat you?" The brat stared at her with a look of confusion, his guard rising rapidly. This plump girl had quietly boarded the ship without a sound—quite impressive.

The young girl wasn't very old, but she was graceful and slender, with a well-proportioned figure. Her jet-black hair danced in the wind, and her smooth, white forehead seemed to glow with intelligence. Her curved brows, lively eyes, and slightly pointed chin gave her the appearance of a moonlit fairy—an ethereal beauty.

She was truly stunning, a rare sight in the mortal world. Any other beauties standing next to her would immediately lose their luster, as if a true celestial being had descended to Earth.

"So stingy. Meeting is a kind of fate; treating me to a drink wouldn't be too much. I've already taken the initiative to ask, can't you show a little hospitality?" Though her face was exquisite and overly pretty, the girl seemed to have thick skin, not minding the other's refusal in the slightest.

As she spoke, she walked lightly, her black dress fluttering around her, enhancing the beauty of her snow-white, radiant body, like a snow lotus flower.

She had a transcendent beauty, as if she didn't belong to the mortal world, but her curvaceous figure also exuded an extreme allure, like a perfect blend of a fairy and a demoness.

This unique temperament was captivating. When she smiled, she was pure and lively, but when she walked gracefully, she was highly seductive. It gave people an extraordinary feeling, like a woman from a myth.

"Since our meeting is fate, why don’t you treat me to something?" The brat rolled up his sleeves and placed the jade table behind him, expecting the girl to treat him.

In his mind, these were treasures made from pure-blooded beings, and the Monkey Wine was even hailed as the best among sacred medicines. Why would he treat a fat stranger to it?

The girl lightly stroked her smooth white forehead and said, "You're hopeless."

With a wave of her hand, light rained down, and a small, exquisite pouch appeared in her slender hand, evidently made from the hide of a fierce beast. As she loosened the golden threads, a pile of fine food and a jar of wine fell out.

"Hmm, your Qiankun Pouch seems to be made from the hide of a real fierce beast, better than mine." The brat didn't look at the food, but instead stared at the radiant pouch.

"Precisely because mine is better than yours, I didn't snatch yours," the girl glanced at him with a sly look.

"You want to snatch mine?" The brat's eyes widened, and he hurriedly covered his Qiankun Pouch, which contained many treasures that he couldn't afford to lose.

At the same time, his eyes were suspicious. Why did he feel like he'd met a kindred spirit? When he saw the girl's pouch, he had almost wanted to snatch it too—it seemed they had similar thoughts.

Of course, the main reason was that he found this girl dangerous and wanted to act first. The fact that she had boarded the ghost ship so easily made him uneasy.

This was the first time the brat had encountered someone he couldn't see through, making him highly vigilant.

"Are you planning to rob me?" The black-clad girl asked with a smile, her curvaceous figure trembling slightly. Her snow-white body shimmered with an alluring glow, enveloped by a faint moonlight, making it hard to tell whether she was pure or enchanting.

"Nonsense! When did I say I wanted to rob you?" The brat's big eyes darted around, clearly fixated on the Qiankun Pouch, reluctant to look away.

"Behave yourself, or I'll rob you clean," the girl said with a dazzling smile, her pearly teeth gleaming. Though she was beautiful, there was a hint of devilishness in her demeanor—a clear threat.

The brat's eyes widened even more. "Are you provoking me? Do you want me to rob you? Then don't blame me for being impolite!"

He howled excitedly, and the Ten Great Cave Heavens formed a brilliant divine ring, which he immediately used to suppress her. At such close range, he believed she couldn't possibly avoid it.

However, the girl's entire body vanished, transforming into a rain of light that scattered into the night sky, like a light breeze dispersing. As it did, a soft laugh accompanied it.

This shocked Shi Hao. What was going on? How had a person of flesh and blood suddenly turned into a rain of light, as if she wasn't real at all?

The light rain fell and reassembled not far away, once again forming the figure of the girl with her flawless, jade-like body. She was ethereal and pure, her beauty so breathtaking that it made one want to stop breathing.

What kind of divine power was this? It gave people a strange feeling, as though this wasn't a flesh-and-blood girl, but a ray of spiritual light.

Even Hairball, with its fiery eyes, was confused. Perched on Shi Hao's shoulder, it blinked its big eyes, unable to figure it out.

"So strong," the brat muttered, feeling like he might have hit a hard wall.

"Let's sit down and have a drink. You should be able to tell by now—I have no ill intentions. I really just want to make a good connection," the girl said with a smile.

"Alright, I'll treat you to a drink." The brat quickly nodded, clutching his Qiankun Pouch to prevent any sneak attacks. He found her ability to turn into a rain of light unsettling.

"It's really a Qingluan! The meat is tender and delicious, your cooking skills are exceptional. This tastes wonderful." The girl praised, showing none of the restraint of a typical young lady. She tore into the golden, oily Qingluan meat with her white, jade-like hands, both hands constantly stuffing the succulent meat into her small, red mouth.

Naturally, she didn't let her greasy hands stop her from drinking the Monkey Wine, gulping it down cup after cup with great enjoyment.

The brat placed the food the girl had brought out on the jade table as well. All of it was extraordinary. Even the fruits were rare spiritual medicines, and the few snacks were made from precious and exotic ingredients.

The wine she brought out was also excellent, seemingly not much inferior to the Monkey Wine. It was brewed from a hundred different flowers, crystalline and fragrant, releasing a sweet aroma under the moonlight.

"You're a glutton," the brat concluded, seeing that she carried so many rare foods with her.

"You must be talking about yourself," the girl replied with a playful smile. After a bout of feasting, she finally slowed down, taking a small sip of wine and gently brushing her hair back, her lively eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Sure, I like to eat, but I always eat whatever's available. You, on the other hand, carry a bunch of snacks with you—no wonder you're so fat," the brat said.

The girl's smile froze slightly, but then she burst into laughter, shaking with mirth. Despite her lack of concern for her image, she still radiated an ethereal beauty, a mix of saintliness and lively charm. "This fatty loves to eat! If I can't even indulge in this one hobby, what's the point of life? Forget everything else—let's feast to our hearts' content. It's been a long time since I've had such delicious food."

"Wow, you can really eat! How can you eat more than I do?" The brat's eyes widened as the large golden, oily piece of Qingluan meat roasting over the fire was entirely devoured by her.

"No worries, I'll treat you next. Let's roast another one." The girl laughed sweetly, her lively eyes sparkling as she snatched the last piece of roasted meat from Shi Hao's grasp, eating it without hesitation.

This made the brat's eyes widen in disbelief. It was the first time anyone had managed to snatch food right from under his nose.

The girl, still enjoying herself, stood up nonchalantly and took out a silver knife, quickly slicing the remaining meat of the pure-blooded creature and placing it on the fire to roast.

"Heavens, how can you eat so much? My Qingluan meat! My Monkey Wine!" The brat wailed.

It was already late into the night. The jade-green sea shimmered under the moonlight, reflecting the glowing moon above. Being a ghost ship, no other creatures dared to approach this area of the sea. It was peaceful and undisturbed.

They ate late into the night. Finally, the brat couldn't take it anymore—his belly was round and full. The moment he opened his mouth, he spewed out rays of divine light, completely unable to eat another bite.

The Qingluan had been over ten meters long, a pure-blooded creature with vast amounts of divine energy. The two of them had eaten most of it, stuffing their bellies full.

It is hard to imagine how their stomachs could hold so much. This was pure-blooded sacred meat; if others were to eat just a piece, they would likely start glowing all over and dash around in a frenzy.

The main reason was that both Shi Hao and this girl were equally strong. Now, they had surpassed the Qingluan in strength, and the so-called fleshly treasure compared to their own bodies was nothing much.

Moreover, this was not a fully mature Qingluan, so the divine essence it contained was quite lacking.

Even so, word of this would shock the outside world—eating more than half of a Qingluan! That was astonishing, a feat worthy of being called champions of appetite.

The little brute realized that he had met his match. This was the first time he had encountered someone who could out-eat him, and it was none other than this girl.

Furthermore, they drank quite a bit of Monkey Wine as well. Their bodies were enveloped in the fragrant scent of alcohol, bathing in a layer of holy radiance.

Shi Hao had recently broken through and needed constant consolidation. By consuming this fleshly treasure and divine wine, it was as if he had undergone another cleansing, reaping immense benefits.

The little brute admitted defeat, and even the furry ball retreated, unable to eat any more.

The girl wiped her plump, red lips with satisfaction, stretched lazily, then downed the last cup of wine, saying, "Finally, I'm full."

"Which race are you from? How can you eat so much?" the little brute humbly asked, feeling bitter about being outdone in something as crucial as eating.

The girl stood up, her slender waist looking soft and supple. Under the bright moonlight, her body appeared ethereal and unworldly, her flawless face carrying a smile with a beauty that transcended the mortal realm.

"Why ask so many questions? I’ve already told you that meeting today is a fortunate encounter. The Desolate Region is about to fall into chaos. When we meet in the future, don't become my enemy," she said with a faint smile, her large eyes shimmering as though glimpsing the future. The gentle tone of her voice felt different from earlier, her entire figure now cloaked in a mysterious radiance.

The little brute felt something stir inside him. He sensed that she bore no ill will for now, and it seemed like this was her way of extending an olive branch, perhaps seeing him as a remarkable talent while passing through this region.

Shi Hao, on the other hand, was conflicted. How could a girl out-eat him? What a terrifying glutton!

"Don't dwell on it. A few years ago, when I was your age, I probably couldn’t eat as much as you do now," the girl teased, seemingly aware of his thoughts.

Shi Hao felt that, despite her pleasant words, she had clearly just come to freeload on food and drink.

"I won’t take your hospitality for granted. Let’s go, and I'll take you to rob some people." The girl twirled around on the ghost ship, her black dress fluttering, and her ivory skin glowed with a crystalline luster, her movements lively yet serene.

"Rob who?" Shi Hao asked.

"I came to your region for the Kunpeng, but that's too difficult. Why not start by looting some unsavory folks?" The girl spoke with utter seriousness. Despite the bandit-like words, she looked saintly and pure, like a celestial being.

Shi Hao was speechless, but his heart was also stirred. She wasn't from the Desolate Region.

The little brute was shaken for a long time before returning to his senses. Then, excitedly, he suggested raiding the troops of the Divine Mountain, the descendants of the Sea God, and the young warriors of the Firefish Tribe.

"Those are all good targets," she nodded in agreement.

"Then let’s go! Bring them all down," the little brute was thrilled. Overpowering enemies and robbing them was his favorite activity.

"You’re not planning to drag me into some all-out brawl with them, are you?" The girl shot him a look and said, "This place suppresses one's cultivation to the Spirit Transformation Realm. None of those guys are pushovers. If the Sea God is reborn, it would be like an ancient divine bird resurrected or a demon god awakened. Going head-to-head with them would be too reckless."

"So, what do you suggest?" Shi Hao asked.

"Obviously, we should launch a sneak attack and knock them down from behind," the girl waved her small, delicate fist with enthusiasm, her expression saintly, even as she plotted. Shrouded in the white light of the moon, she appeared utterly transcendent.

Shi Hao sighed. It felt like he had met his match. He couldn’t help but say, "You’re a glutton, you're overweight, and you’re shameless—where did you even come from?"

"Are you jealous or praising me?" The girl stretched her lithe waist lazily, completely unconcerned, her eyes sparkling brightly with mischief.

Her black dress fluttered in the wind, her long, alabaster legs gleaming with a crystalline glow, and her graceful figure became the most captivating sight against the backdrop of the sea.

"I have nothing more to say," Shi Hao sighed.

"Alright then, let’s begin our sacred war of plundering!" The girl pumped her fist in excitement.
