Chapter 264: Master Fifteen

Chapter 264: Master Fifteen

It was Master Fifteen. Previously, there had been a typo where he was written as Master Thirteen.

On the Northern Sea, the emerald waves surged, and a wild child was running across the surface of the water, his long black hair flying back like a flame of black fire.

Shihou walked on the waves, moving quickly. It had been over two years since he left Shicun to search for treasures in the Northern Sea, and he had become a powerful expert in the Spirit Transformation Realm.

Although he was still young, his true strength was immense.

"Who dares to disturb?" The surface of the sea parted, revealing several giant silver sharks. Their huge dorsal fins were silver-white, menacing and terrifying.

"Oh my god, he’s still alive!" One of the silver sharks trembled in fear, immediately sinking to the bottom of the sea and not daring to show itself again.

The other silver sharks carefully identified the face and, after recognizing it, turned and fled, diving into the depths of the sea. The fact that this killing star was still alive was too terrifying.

On that day, the young man wreaked havoc in the Kunpeng Nest, unstoppable and invincible. No one knew how many lives he had taken or how many esteemed figures he had slain. His invincibility left a deep impression.

The two prodigies of the Northern Sea, Mo Shang and Han Tian, were known as the young geniuses. To their contemporaries, they were like gods. Both had fought him before and suffered losses, which made him even more fearsome.

Compared to the fearsome descendants of the Sea God and the fiery fish demons, his valor seemed slightly superior. The results of his battles were enough to shake the world.

Although the wild child was defeated and thrown into the evolution magic cave by the crowd, his reputation did not diminish; in fact, it grew even louder.

That battle, known by all and feared by many, saw countless bodies left on the altar, with people prostrating under his feet, staining the ground with blood. He rose to prominence as the young supreme in the Spirit Transformation Realm, his bravery unstoppable.

The fleeing silver sharks were not the only ones. As the wild child continued his run, other sea creatures also panicked and fled, not daring to stay even for a moment.

The wild child's passage was like a calamity, with all beings fleeing in terror. It was an unusual sight: the emerald sea surging as a young man ran on the waves, while many creatures retreated, too scared to show themselves.

Shihou had been out of the Kunpeng Nest for half a month and had already learned that all major divine islands and many formidable forces had suffered severe injuries and had "sealed their mountains."

Not only the esteemed figures but also any powerful beings who participated in that battle, including the underwater fish palaces, had closed their caves and were no longer appearing, recuperating and healing.

Overall, the Northern Sea had become a tranquil place, with all races lying low because the strong were recovering their energy. For a time, no new disturbances appeared.

"How infuriating that this guy is still alive. I wonder if the ancestor survived; I heard he was injured by the true dragon’s poison," murmured a few sea dragons in the sea.

The wild child, running towards the morning glow, happily caught large lobsters, crabs, and fierce turtles along the way. The furball, just awakening on his shoulder, drooled with desire.

"These are all good things. Grandpa, Uncle Lin Hu, and Brother Da Zhuang have never had these before. I'll bring them back for them to try."

In the morning glow, a young man ran on the golden waves of the sea, chasing a group of sea dragons. The waves soared to the sky as if he was herding cattle or sheep, an astonishing sight.

The wild child roared with joy, his body bathed in a layer of golden light, speeding with exhilaration. Little did he know that his grandfather, whom he thought had been dead for years, had now escaped his predicament.

As the black forest receded, Master Fifteen strode forward, each step covering hundreds of yards, quickly leaving the area and then the mountain range.

The old man looked at the sky, welcoming the brilliant sunshine he had not seen for many years. His heart was now bright and full of joy, anticipating a reunion with his loved ones.

"After so many years, I should prepare more gifts for my grandson. I wonder if the jar of Pixiu’s true blood I obtained back then is still around."

He moved swiftly towards the distance, eventually transforming into a streak of light, moving at an incredible speed to an ancient mountain range to retrieve the items he had left behind years ago.

In that battle, Master Fifteen suffered severe injuries. To escape from a full-grown Pixiu, he had hidden the jar of blood he had on him to prevent the Pixiu from tracking him.

Years had passed, and he only vaguely remembered where it was. He was unsure if he could still find it.

That battle was too brutal. Master Fifteen paid a huge price, losing an arm. If it weren’t for the help of a divine formation, allowing him to traverse the void, he might have perished.

"Pixiu, we will meet again sooner or later. What's the difference if you cultivate for another hundred or eighty years? I’ll come and beat you up and settle the score," the old man muttered angrily.

The Hundred Races Battlefield was a place of fierce competition, where survival of the fittest determined life and death. It was not surprising.

Master Fifteen had killed the young ones, but the older ones came out to hunt him down, leaving him severely injured and on the brink of death, almost perishing in the Great Wilderness.

Master Fifteen was a formidable figure. Even when pursued by a creature residing on the Divine Mountain, he was unafraid. He always vowed to reclaim his honor and smash the gate of that Divine Mountain.

If the outside world knew of this old man’s intentions, they would be terrified, for even the power of an entire ancient kingdom could not contend with such a place, and no one would dare to provoke it lightly.

With Master Fifteen’s speed, he traveled rapidly and then flew with a divine bow for several days, as the Great Wilderness was boundless.

"This should be the swamp," he descended.

The swamp had a decaying odor, very gloomy, with some trees that were sparse but enormous, blocking out the sky.

The muck contained rotting leaves and the bones of some animals, giving off a foul smell.

"Boom!"

Master Fifteen struck with a palm, causing the mud to splash. The entire swamp cracked open, resembling a deep abyss, stretching several tens of yards in length and depth.

"Wow, it’s still here," Master Fifteen was overjoyed. With a wave of his hand, a jade jar appeared, with flowing light. Inside was silver blood, sparkling and brilliant.

He opened the jar, and a fragrant aroma wafted out. The silver blood was dazzling and astonishing, emitting a misty aura that covered the entire swamp with a silver glow.

"Unfortunately, some of its spiritual essence has dissipated. The jar of refined blood has lost more than half of its essence," Master Fifteen felt regretful.

At that time, he did not handle it carefully, only putting it in the jar. After so long, the divine essence had diminished.

However, finding it again and reclaiming it still made him very happy. It was this jar of blood that had led to his calamity back then, and now he felt quite nostalgic.

"Roar!"

In the distance, a roar was heard as a ten-yard-long wolf-elephant pounced. It had long green fur, a wolf's head, an elephant’s trunk, and sharp white teeth. It sensed the powerful spiritual fluctuations here and rushed over quickly.

However, before this ancient beast could get close, a purple cloud descended.

A giant bird, over a hundred yards in size, landed, tearing apart its body with its massive claws. Blood stained the cliff, and it quickly devoured the beast, then dived back towards the swamp.

"Dragon-scaled sparrow, so powerful, with incredible flying speed. But don’t provoke me, or I’ll eat you, no, use you as transportation," Master Fifteen muttered quietly.

It was a purple giant bird, with a body covered in purple scales and wings of purple feathers. It had purple plumes on its head, curling upwards into the sky, giving it a mystical appearance.

The Dragon-scaled Sparrow attacked without hesitation. It sensed that the energy fluctuations of the old man were nothing extraordinary, but the true blood in the jar was incredibly powerful.

This was a Dragon-scaled Sparrow of immense strength, quite rare among ancient species. It held dominion over its region, and even from far away in the mountains, it could sense the fluctuations here, indicating its keen spiritual senses.

Even powerful figures and ancestors would feel apprehensive upon seeing it, furrowing their brows and preparing for battle.

However, when Master Fifteen saw the Dragon-scaled Sparrow, hundreds of yards in size, attacking, he merely smiled and said to himself, "Little one, take me to the Imperial Capital of the Stone Kingdom. You have such good stamina."

With a thunderous sound, his aura changed dramatically. He leaped into the air like a demonic deity, emitting an overwhelmingly powerful aura as he stood high in the sky and reached out his hand.

The giant bird was shocked. How could such a seemingly frail human be so terrifying? A giant hand materialized, enveloping its hundreds of yards of body.

"Good, come here," Master Fifteen laughed heartily, his hair wild and his beard unkempt, as he restrained the massive bird.

The Dragon-scaled Sparrow struggled, flapping and trying to soar into the sky, but it was trapped by the giant hand and could not escape. Rays of light from the palm began to emerge, and the hand acted like a massive furnace, starting to refine it.

"Take me there, and I'll return your freedom," the old man said.

Eventually, the Dragon-scaled Sparrow yielded. As a powerful and fearsome ruler, it had lived for a long time and knew that this human was not to be trifled with; he was truly frightening.

The giant bird, over a hundred yards in size, spread its wings and turned into a purple cloud, carrying a strong wind as it howled past the mountains at an incredible speed.

Such a powerful beast naturally feared no other creatures and was unafraid of ambushes. It forcefully flew through the clouds, heading towards the distant Imperial Capital of the Stone Kingdom.

In this mountain range, many beings trembled. This was the invincible overlord of the entire region, now subdued and used as a mount.

The Great Wilderness was vast and boundless. Even a rare species like the Dragon-scaled Sparrow took many days to approach the Imperial Capital of the Stone Kingdom.

It was a colossal city, magnificently built from block after block of jade crystal. The grand city walls were like a mountain range, and the towering city towers resembled a heavenly palace, stretching imposingly with a majestic aura.

The city was densely populated, with numerous soldiers stationed there. The city walls were inscribed with endless runes, resembling rotating stars that emitted a special aura.

Behind the high battlements, row after row of soldiers patrolled. They were disciplined, their armor shining brightly, weapons sharp with a cold metallic luster, and a murderous aura pervaded the air.

This was the ancient capital of the kingdom, guarded by elite forces and powerful generals, making it a fortress. Particularly after the city’s array patterns were activated, the entire city was covered in runes, making it almost impregnable.

When the Dragon-scaled Sparrow appeared and dived down from the sky, it immediately caused a commotion among the soldiers on the city walls. They were deeply shaken and prepared for battle.

At the city gate, the vehicles and merchants coming and going were even more astonished. They were shocked by the strength of the fierce bird and wondered if it was going to attack the city.

Master Fifteen did not break any rules. He controlled the Dragon-scaled Sparrow and landed in front of the city. He patted the huge bird's head and said, "Good job, little one. Go now."

Then he jumped down and walked towards the city gate.

Everyone was dumbfounded. Whether it was the defending soldiers or the merchants and travelers, they were all astonished. This was a giant demonic bird over a hundred yards in size.

Earlier, from a distance, they couldn’t see clearly, but now that it was up close, seeing the true form of the Dragon-scaled Sparrow made everyone nervous. It was a true overlord that would give even the most powerful ancestors a headache.

Who was this imposing old man who seemed so nonchalant and unconcerned about such a creature? He was truly terrifying.

"What kind of person are you, and what do you want?" A squad of soldiers from the city stepped forward. Normally fierce, they now seemed fearful, trembling as if facing a prehistoric beast.

"I’m going home," the old man said with a kind smile, showing a mouthful of white teeth. His smile startled everyone, and though he was smiling, the aura he emitted made them shiver.

This was an immensely terrifying figure. The aura emanating from him made their bodies feel like they were about to collapse, causing them great discomfort.

Master Fifteen was genuinely happy to be back, laughing heartily as he entered the city.

It wasn’t until he was inside that a lieutenant, pale-faced, sat down on the ground and muttered, "It’s over. He’s still alive. Oh no, the great demon has returned. The capital is going to be in chaos. It might even explode."
