The mischievous child let out a long sigh, and a group of people responded enthusiastically. His charisma was immense, and everyone from the Genius Camp followed him, heading towards the residence of the Stag Hunting Academy.
More than half of them had already guessed the identity of the little one and knew how ferocious he could be. Thus, even in the absence of their senior brothers and sisters, they were fearless and ready to fight.
Whether in the Void Realm or on Hundred Break Mountain, his fearsome reputation had spread far and wide. Despite being cursed by powerful opponents, he had always survived and thrived.
"They reside at Five Spirit Cliff, a place rich in spiritual energy. We've been quite courteous to them, yet they show no regard for us," someone remarked.
Guided by a lead, they arrived at a spiritually abundant land with purple mist, clear lakes, ancient stone cliffs, and various auspicious birds. The herbs were fragrant.
A group of silver spiritual deer was running, each radiating a halo of light, especially their antlers, which shone with a dazzling silver brilliance.
The little one immediately stopped, wiped his saliva, and said, "Deer antlers, a great tonic. This is a group of rare spiritual deer, so plump!"
Everyone else stopped as well, their faces covered with black lines. They were here for revenge, but why was he focusing on those silver spiritual beasts?
"Junior Brother, you mustn't touch these. They are used by the Elders for alchemy," someone quietly reminded him.
"Who said I want to eat them? Do I look like that kind of person? Would I do something like that?" The little one declared with righteous indignation, though his gesture of wiping his saliva undermined his seriousness.
The group laughed, all chuckling silently.
"Let's go and settle the score," the little one concealed his embarrassment and once again led the way forward.
This was indeed a treasure land where ordinary people couldn't live. The Heaven Repair Pavilion had given the Stag Hunting Academy enough courtesy, and even some disciples were arranged to stay here.
The group was filled with resentment as they charged forward.
"People from the Stag Hunting Academy, come out!"
Ahead were a series of palatial buildings, small bridges with flowing water, and exquisite gardens. The lake emitted spiritual energy, appearing quite beautiful.
"So noisy. Just a bunch of trash. After losing, they still have the face to shout," came a youthful voice, harsh and unfeeling. The Genius Camp members found it extremely grating and clenched their fists in anger.
"Have you invited your senior brothers and sisters? Let's all go together," said a proud young man, appearing in the garden riding a fierce beast.
The ground shook slightly as the giant beast appeared, imposing and mighty. It was about four or five meters long, robust in build, resembling a lion but covered in greenish scales with wide fangs and antlers on its head, glowing with divine light and adorned with runes.
This was an ancient beast breed, and although not fully grown, it exuded a terrifying aura. It was extremely powerful.
Everyone gasped in shock. This was a rare beast, and to have it as his mount showed that the Stag Hunting Academy's young man was of great importance.
"This is a Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion," someone recognized.
Just the sight of this mount made it clear that not many could match it. In fact, most people here were no match for it. They couldn't withstand this fierce beast.
The Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion's eyes were like two bright lamps, its pupils golden, and the combination of runes and fierce light made it very frightening, making people wary of looking at it directly.
"Let you all go together. I won’t take action myself. Just my mount is enough to flatten you," the young man said with a cold tone, looking down on everyone.
The group immediately became enraged. This was a blatant disrespect.
The young man, about fourteen or fifteen years old, wore a purple robe and stood about six feet tall, which was tall for his age. He was strong and vigorous, with sharp eyes, and exuded a heroic presence.
He glanced at those with bandages and broken bones, his lips curling into a cold smile. The battle yesterday had stained the lakeside with blood, many were severely injured, and he was filled with confidence.
"You’re too arrogant. I’ll fight you," stepped forward Wu Feng, who had returned from the old monster and wanted to get some revenge for the many junior brothers.
"I said, all of you come at once. If you can defeat my lion, that’s enough," the young man said casually, patting the lion's back. "Flatten them."
The Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion roared, charging forward, causing the ground to tremble. The enormous beast shone with light, its green scales gleaming, and its eyes shot out two golden beams, extremely fierce.
Everyone was alarmed. Facing this ancient beast was more daunting than fighting the young man, as the beast was even more terrifying.
Only the little one remained calm and unhurried. He stepped forward, his eyes flashing, and smiled, "It looks really delicious."
"What did you say?" The charging young man raised his eyebrows, his eyes full of murderous intent, urging the beast to stomp forward.
The Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion roared, sending sand and stones flying, and leaves swirling. This was truly a lion’s roar, with the wind raging and the force intense.
However, in the face of such a fierce beast, the little one’s response was jaw-dropping. He also roared, and the sound waves surged, causing rocks to tumble and trees to snap, forcefully suppressing the lion’s roar.
Everyone was stunned. Wasn’t the ancient beast supposed to be the stronger one? How could his roar overpower the lion's roar?
The Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion, enraged, roared even louder, charging towards the young man with the intention to smash him.
The little one, undaunted, charged forward with speed, cracking the ground as he collided head-on.
Many from the Genius Camp knew his identity but had never seen him truly unleash his power. At this moment, they all felt a pang of anxiety. This was a true ancient beast, though not fully grown, its physical strength was immense, making such a direct confrontation daunting.
"Boom!"
A tremendous crash occurred as the large and small bodies collided, overturning everyone’s expectations. The little one continued to charge forward, while the giant beast was directly sent flying, spewing blood from its mouth.
The young man on the mount was thrown off in a very awkward manner.
"It looks really delicious," the little one yelled, seemingly unfazed, and ran forward, unimpeded, catching up with the beast that had been knocked away.
With a loud crash, he punched the Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion, causing cracks to form, bones to snap, and blood to gush out.
"Roar!" The ancient beast roared in anger and fear. Golden beams shot from its eyes towards the young man. At the same time, the dragon horns on its head glowed, with runes swirling like divine flames, pressing forward.
"Clang!"
Despite its magical attacks, all were ineffective. The little one sliced through the golden beams with a flick of his fingers, and with another roar, he dispersed the runes in the sky.
His performance was extremely brutal, resembling an ancient true dragon, shattering everything with every move. It was terrifying beyond belief.
The little one leaped onto the beast's head, preparing to seize its primal runic bones. The Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion, in fear, ignited its entire body, using all its treasures to overwhelm him.
A bird’s cry echoed as a divine phoenix spread its wings. Golden light surged as it swooped down, tearing through all the treasures and slashing through the powerful ancient beast.
Everyone was horrified. How ruthless was this child? That was a genuine ancient beast, extremely powerful. Yet, he had killed it in just a few moves.
This level of combat power and methods left everyone shivering with fear. The gap was immense and seemingly insurmountable.
"His opponents are no longer of our generation," someone sighed lightly.
With a crisp crack, the Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion’s bones shattered, its horns breaking off, and a gush of blood spilled out.
"Qingfeng, come over and get some of the deer antler blood," the little one called to Qingfeng, standing in front of the fierce beast.
"Ah," Qingfeng was at a loss. His older brother was too powerful; it was astonishing how he had slain such a mighty ancient beast so effortlessly.
He obediently moved forward, following the little one's instructions, and used a jade jar to collect the blood from the dragon's horns. This was far superior to the silver deer antlers they had seen before.
"Drink it while it's warm and see the effects of the medicine," the little one said, not drinking any himself but giving it all to Qingfeng, showing great care for him.
"Everyone, come and help! I’m treating you all to lion meat. The blood and flesh of ancient beasts are precious medicines, don’t miss out," the little one called to everyone.
"Ah!" The purple-robed youth, Tuoba Chuan, shouted furiously, his eyes wide with anger. He was already quite domineering and did not expect someone even more aggressive, consuming his mount right before his eyes.
"How infuriating!" Tuoba Chuan roared, leaping into the air and charging forward, his body covered in golden runes. A golden roc materialized and swooped down to attack.
The little one turned around, sensing the roc’s treasure technique, and waited until it was almost upon him before striking. His fist, surrounded by a radiant aura like a small sun, smashed into the roc.
"Boom!"
A golden storm roared, and the roc’s mournful cry was heard as it was directly shattered into golden light rain that dispersed into the air.
Tuoba Chuan was shocked. The power was so immense that it could directly clash with treasure techniques, far beyond his own capabilities. Fear appeared in his eyes as his pupils rapidly contracted, realizing, "You are that ferocious little brat!"
"Your eyes are too dull," the little one replied, then scolded loudly, "You’re the brat. Your whole family are brats!"
He charged forward, attacking.
Tuoba Chuan was stunned. Eighteen layers of light barriers appeared before him. He used all his means and treasure artifacts for defense, but against the legendary ferocious child, he could only defend.
However, the gap was truly enormous. The person who had opened the Nine Heavenly Caverns was only recorded in ancient books, while the little one had achieved it in reality, leaving him no choice but to bow his head.
The roaring continued as all eighteen layers of barriers were breached. The little one rushed forward, grabbing Tuoba Chuan and shaking him violently, causing treasure artifacts, medicinal jars, and bone books to scatter on the ground.
"Qingfeng, come here, I have something good for you."
With a crack, the little one shattered Tuoba Chuan’s arm bones and threw him directly in front of the Genius Camp members.
"Boom!"
The crowd wasted no time and immediately took action. Someone kicked him away, while another punched him back.
The crowd did not seek his life but showed no mercy, as he had been extremely cruel yesterday, causing many broken bones, far beyond the realm of normal sparring and excessively harsh.
On the other side, the little one, Qingfeng, and the silver-robed youth, Xiao Tian, were preparing the ancient beast. After skinning and cleaning it, they started roasting it over a fire.
The process was incredibly swift. By the time the crowd had vented their anger, the smell of roasted meat filled the air. The Golden-Eyed Dragon-Horned Lion was already turning golden and shiny, and everyone was in awe.
This was an ancient beast, and here it was being roasted. Were they really going to eat it?
"Junior Brother, are we really eating it here?" The crowd swallowed nervously, feeling a bit thrilled and apprehensive.
"What's the big deal? When I was at Hundred Break Mountain, I used to eat several of these at a meal. Don’t be shy, everyone come and eat," the little one encouraged the crowd.
In the distance, Tuoba Chuan, with a bruised face and broken bones, fainted from anger upon seeing this scene, preferring not to see or think about it.
A group of people gathered around and soon began to feast. The aroma of the meat was irresistible, and for these usually "law-abiding" and "well-behaved" young men and women, it felt like a naughty indulgence, giving them a special sense of satisfaction.
"What are you doing?" a melodious voice asked, coming from a woman in white.
Her pure white dress fluttered as she moved. With black hair and eyes, she was breathtakingly beautiful, like a lotus emerging from water. Her skin was snow-white and delicate, her eyes sparkling like stars, and her face showed surprise.
"Ah, it's Senior Sister Youyu," the Genius Camp members quickly lowered their heads and swallowed the last bits of golden roasted meat.
The little one recognized the woman in white. He had encountered her years ago in the western border of the Stone Kingdom during his solo venture into the wild. She had once given him a talisman, which he later passed on to Qingfeng.
Beside Xia Youyu was another woman, dazzling in golden armor. Her tall, slender figure and full chest were barely concealed by the armor, and she exuded an impressive and unique grace.
This was the Goddess of the Stag Hunting Academy, standing next to Xia Youyu. Both were incredibly beautiful in their own right. One was like a celestial fairy descending from the moon, and the other like a divine warrior in gleaming armor. Both were exceptionally striking and hard to look away from.
Behind them, some young men and women looked on, staring at the group from the Heaven Repair Pavilion as they feasted with amazement.
"I can’t help but think that the roasted golden beast looks like Tuoba's mount."
"I think it does resemble it."
These people were completely stunned and had trouble believing it.
