Chapter 215: The Great Enemy

Chapter 215: The Great Enemy

Boom

A hand, glowing with a yellowish light, descended from the sky, immense and formidable, as if a divine being was striking down to crush the little one.

It was the human boy, around fourteen or fifteen years old, with a robust physique, like a savage deity descending to the mortal realm. He had clashed with the little one dozens of times.

The mischievous child roared, exhibiting incredible bravery. He fought with swirling runes, like a young celestial deity. Though not very tall, his presence was imposing.

Between them, radiant clouds of light surged, energy was fierce, and the gale was so strong it cracked the stone mountains, showcasing their terrifying power.

After a fierce battle of life and death, both the little one and the human were knocked away. The bloodshed was intense, with treasures and techniques raging like a flood, and the light covered the sky, extremely fierce.

A dragon’s roar sounded, and another watchful and powerful enemy attacked.

The Ch'i Dragon was strong and powerful, its scales shining, dazzling and translucent, its body like it was forged from celestial gold. It charged through, smashing large stones weighing tens of thousands of pounds.

Its physical strength was supreme, being a descendant of an ancient ferocious beast. Furthermore, its lineage was known for its strong physique, with few opponents.

Bang

The Ch'i Dragon collided with the little one, first using its claws to strike the little one’s fists, then turning and leaving, its long tail dazzling and sweeping, unstoppable.

The little one avoided it, and the dragon’s tail swept away numerous massive rocks, ranging from tens to tens of thousands of pounds, shattering them in midair. The area was filled with flying sand and stones, and lightning and thunder made it fearsome.

As the little one raised his hand, lightning began to dance, filling the area with bright, purple lightning, attacking the Ch'i Dragon with overwhelming force.

With a roar, the Ch'i Dragon avoided the attack, but a stone mountain behind it was struck, exploding into dust and turning black.

Gigantic arcs of electricity roared through the ruins, crackling, leaving the spectators astonished. Despite being heavily injured, the mischievous child could still display such divine might.

The Ch'i Dragon’s eyes were cold, its brilliant body turning again to attack, spiraling like a true dragon, creating gusts of wind that shook the heavens and the earth.

Its body was covered in brilliant symbols, true dragon patterns, containing supreme mysteries. When its techniques were displayed, countless rays of light filled the sky.

Faintly, the sounds of the Dao were like the chants of gods, resonating through the nine heavens, and the sounds grew louder, ripples spreading towards the little one.

Massive stones exploded, ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of pounds. When the dragon’s roar came, the ripples surged, and all turned to powder.

The little one was solemn and cautious. The bone inscriptions recorded in the original texts surfaced in his mind, transforming decay into magic, as the ordinary inscriptions contained supreme mysteries.

The mischievous child’s expression was serious, and radiant symbols in front of him quickly arranged and reformed into a golden ocean. With a rumbling sound, it collided with the ripples emitted by the Ch'i Dragon, both shattering simultaneously.

The spectators were shocked. Such a battle between these beings was truly despairing, reaching the limits allowed by the Cave Heaven realm. No one else could match them and would be doomed to die if they went up.

The little one and the Ch'i Dragon clashed fiercely, both flying away in the end.

The mischievous child wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes shining. He had suffered severe injuries while resisting divine mandates and was also wounded by the Rain Clan’s explosive forbidden formation. His body was covered with many cracks and nearly destroyed.

At this moment, he was fighting against a mysterious boy and a descendant of an ancient ferocious beast, continuously clashing and naturally suffering considerable impact, his injuries worsening with blood flowing.

However, the mischievous child was extremely fierce and fearless, almost charging at the Ch'i Dragon multiple times, grinding his white and sparkling little teeth, ready to bite.

“I’m severely injured and can’t use all my strength to fight them. Otherwise, it would be a huge problem,” the little one thought to himself.

He had a dozen prominent cracks on his body, crisscrossed, bleeding profusely. If he continued shaking, he would almost fall apart.

“Hand over the Ancient Divine Book!” the human boy shouted, attacking.

With a rumble, yellowish mist surged. His hand seemed like a mountain descending, rapidly enlarging, pressing down on the heavens, and a lion-like beast emerged from the mist.

This was his treasure technique, finally manifesting. In the mist, it exploded, with light flooding the heavens and devouring the earth.

The beast, known as the Bixie, was immense and terrifying, towering like a mountain, with a tiger’s body but dragon horns. It was golden-yellow, covered in dragon scales, and its aura was fearsome.

The little one roared, his eyes emitting treasure light. A purple Suanni (a mythical beast) erupted from his back, matching the height of the mountain, charging towards the Bixie. Lightning surrounded them, and they engaged in a fierce battle.

The crowd was in shock. The battle between these two ancient ferocious beasts seemed to shatter mountains and rivers, tearing apart the heavens and earth, making the world tremble.

At this moment, the little one also rose up, his true form engaging with the boy. The two ancient ferocious beasts clashed, and they fought fiercely.

“You can’t protect the Bronze Divine Book,” the mysterious boy shouted.

He was extremely powerful, wearing a beast-skin outfit, with one arm and shoulder bare. His body was bronze-colored, strong and robust, like a savage deity emerging.

Boom

The little one responded with a punch. Despite his injuries, he was still incredibly strong, clashing with the boy and showing the result through action.

Both their divine bodies trembled violently, and then they shone, symbols interweaving in the sky, blindingly bright.

“Ah!”

The boy roared, his eyes wide. Despite his injuries and being younger, the little one was still able to resist and not fall behind, making him unwilling to accept it.

Whirr

The boy swung his leg like a steel whip, causing the air to vibrate, with symbols surging like ocean waves. He appeared like a human-shaped ferocious beast, extraordinarily powerful.

The little one jumped, avoiding the strike, and swung his own leg from above, sweeping towards the boy’s head, golden light flooding the area. Bang

The boy blocked with one arm, while reaching out with the other hand to grab the little one’s ankle, trying to hold him and then strike him down.

He had thick black hair and sharp eyes, with a terrifying wildness. Usually, no one dared to fight a mysterious boy like this, not only engaging in close combat but also intending to kill the opponent.

“Hmph”

The little one snorted coldly. His right leg firmly struck the boy’s arm, and he pressed down with another leg on the boy’s head, his entire body bearing down.

“Break for me!”

The mysterious boy raised his hand and foot, with the power to break the heavens, grasping the little one’s leg and trying to split him.

Boom

The little one’s legs shook, rooting in the void like a rock, unmovable. His hands burned with golden light, and a Kunpeng (a mythical bird) faintly appeared, pressing down on the boy’s head.

“Ah!” The boy roared, his aura changing abruptly to a white mist, releasing the little one’s leg. A white tiger appeared behind him to counter the Kunpeng.

Then, the two beings collided, with a rumbling sound, waves like the sea flooding the area.

The crowd was astonished. Everyone was stunned by the ferocity of these two, their initial attacks so domineering that they had shattered the pristine land.

The Rain Clan's pristine land, already in ruins, was further devastated by the current clash. It became a desolate wasteland of shattered walls and rolling earth.

Boom

Ultimately, the little one crashed the boy into the ground from mid-air, causing the earth to裂开, with debris flying and dust billowing.

A large pit appeared, and the mischievous child, like a small ferocious beast, pinned the opponent down and fought intensely. Both were covered in blood from the close combat.

The ground exploded, and the mischievous child was drenched in blood due to severe injuries from divine mandates and other attacks. His numerous cracks had worsened.

The unknown boy was also in a dire state, his arm bleeding and his chest nearly crushed, similarly injured.

Boom

The two clashed again, with the little one almost toppling him. He then delivered a powerful kick that sent the boy’s disheveled hair flying.

The mysterious boy avoided a fatal blow, but his face was still grazed, causing a sharp pain and bleeding.

Though this was accidental and did not determine a clear victor, such a minor injury to the face drove him mad, making him even more ferocious as he attacked the mischievous child.

Boom

In the intense clash, the little one’s wound bled, causing his face to pale, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

At the same time, blood trickled from the corner of the mysterious boy’s mouth.

They separated, each standing on opposite sides, preparing for the next confrontation.

With a rumble, the little one created several Cave Heavens around him, with lava flowing. He was forcing open the tenth Cave Heaven, seeking transformation and elevation amid the battle.

As he emerged, escaping was difficult with two formidable enemies blocking his way, and he was heavily injured, needing a fierce battle to overcome.

Whirr, the Ch'i Dragon charged at the little one, not giving him a chance to catch his breath or open the tenth Cave Heaven, aiming to seize the Bronze Divine Book and gain tremendous opportunities.

The little one fought back fiercely, but the tenth Cave Heaven kept flickering without truly opening.

The situation was dire—the mischievous child was in a dangerous position. Despite his immense strength, his body was almost shattered, and facing such powerful divine descendants, he could fall.

“You’ve provoked me; I’ll devour you all!” The mischievous child glared angrily at them.

The situation was critical—he was somewhat restrained by his condition. Though these were formidable foes, his physical state made it difficult for him to fight at full strength.

The little one battled the Ch'i Dragon, attacking its back. The Ch'i Dragon turned around, its body shining brilliantly like celestial gold, yet it was as flexible as a serpent.

“Hand it over!”

The Ch'i Dragon roared, and with a rumble, its dazzling body moved to ensnare the little one, coiling around him like a giant snake tightening its grip.

Roar

The Ch'i Dragon opened its massive mouth, with white sharp teeth, attempting to swallow him whole.

The little one’s eyes glowed as he bit into the Ch'i Dragon’s flesh, producing a clanging sound, tearing off several scales.

Pfft

Blood surged, and the mischievous child gulped down Ch'i Dragon’s blood with a hint of cruelty, leaving the spectators stunned. The roles seemed reversed: who was the Ch'i Dragon and who was the human?

In intense pain, the Ch'i Dragon was momentarily stunned, having only just opened its mouth, only to be bitten.

Roar It roared in fury, diving down with its enormous mouth open, biting at the mischievous child.

Boom

A Kunpeng (a mythical bird) erupted from the little one, growing in size and dazzling in brilliance, heading straight for the Ch'i Dragon’s mouth. The dragon was startled and quickly abandoned the little one, leaping into the air.

With a whoosh, the little one was thrown away, finally spitting out a dazzling blood flower that flew from the Ch'i Dragon and into his mouth.

Under normal circumstances, it would be the ferocious beasts eating humans, but now it was unusual. The little one savored the taste, having just consumed the blood and flesh of a Ch'i Dragon.

“It’s sweet and delicious, truly a treasure of blood and flesh,” the little one mused. In front of him, the tenth Cave Heaven appeared again, with divine light surging and auspicious clouds shining, but it still couldn’t fully open.

“What to do? Can I leverage their help to open the tenth Cave Heaven and achieve complete transformation, thus overpowering the enemies in this realm?” the little one thought to himself.

The book review area was red with thanks to the gods, cats, stranded, Little You, and Bai Ze. Thank you all.
