“Quick, quick, we need to go faster! If we're late, we'll get nothing. The Tuoba clan and the Rain Tribe have already gone deep inside.”
Outside the mountains, a group of people raced forward, their bodies enveloped in the glow of the setting sun, heading into the depths of the primitive forest.
These were powerful individuals from ancient sects, all experts, here to seek the Bronze Book of Gods and claim some spoils from this final battle.
In another direction, a flock of fierce birds appeared, large and brightly feathered. Some were as fiery as embers, some shrouded in purple mist, and others dazzling like lightning.
This was a group of ancient species, led by the strongest among them, accompanied by a swarm of fierce birds, densely packed, leaping over the forest with terrifying ferocity and surrounded by various blazing symbols.
“Heavens, the demonic birds from Beitian Peak are here. This will be troublesome. Facing them will be extremely dangerous.”
In the forest, many people looked up, their faces changing color. Among the flock of demonic birds, nearly ten were ancient species leaders. This was a terrifying force, flashing with various lights like a comet crossing the sky.
The strong wind hit their faces as some fierce birds flew close to the forest, causing many towering ancient trees to explode. The mountainside was in chaos, with broken branches and fallen leaves everywhere.
“We need to move quickly, we can’t fall behind. The ancient divine book is priceless. Even if we can’t gather all of it, we can still exchange it for precious treasures.”
Groups of cultivators rushed in, undeterred by the ancient species soaring above, still swiftly heading into the depths of the primeval forest.
In the forest, beams of light flashed, and treasure artifacts flew through the air as a large number of powerful individuals arrived, searching the mountains for their target.
Shouting, calling, the cries of birds and roars of beasts echoed continuously. The mountains were bustling with activity, and all the creatures within were disturbed.
“What a grand spectacle.”
Little Dot stepped forward, the mountain wind blowing, making his thick black hair flutter. His eyes were sharp, like two bolts of lightning, and he sensed a deadly threat.
Clouds swirled, countless experts arrived. Yet, he showed no fear, striding forward to face the multitude.
“We found it, over here, haha!” Someone laughed heartily, feeling extremely pleased. They had arrived just in time, finding the boy before he was killed.
“That flock of fierce birds overshot. What luck! We discovered it first.”
This group of experts, mostly scattered cultivators, had met and formed an alliance outside the mountains, becoming a formidable force that surrounded Little Dot.
“There’s nothing to discuss. Hand over the Bronze Book of Gods,” someone commanded. They had come for the treasure.
“Why should I?” Little Dot asked.
The crowd sneered. The reason was naturally strength. In their view, the child was already defeated and had lost his fighting ability. Now he was just meat on the chopping block.
“I suggest you comply quietly, or you’ll suffer. Sometimes living is worse than dying,” someone mocked.
This was the best interpretation of “a tiger falling to the ground being bullied by dogs.” These people believed that Little Dot was vulnerable and could be bullied, posing no real threat to them.
Otherwise, in the past, who would have dared to confront them? In their minds, the Nine Cavern Heaven represented invincibility and invulnerability.
“Feel free to try,” Little Dot said calmly.
These people sneered coldly, saying no more, and acted swiftly. They feared unforeseen changes; if other ancient sects arrived, they would likely be sidelined.
Brilliant symbols shone as several top experts charged forward, using their strongest attacks to suppress and cover the area with their power.
With dozens of people working together, their combined might was formidable. The place was engulfed by powerful winds, ancient trees were uprooted, rocks flew through the air, and low mountains cracked and rumbled.
Although they appeared arrogant, they exerted all their effort in their attacks, wary of any unforeseen circumstances.
“Whoosh”
Little Dot's eyes emitted two beams of golden light, striking fear into all. Shimmering symbols flew from his eyes, piercing through the four leading experts at the forefront with a thud.
“Ah!” The four screamed, their eyes filled with terror, unable to believe what was happening.
Their chests were drenched in blood, with large holes the size of bowls, causing despair and fear. Just two beams of golden light had destroyed four powerful experts.
“Roar!”
At the same time, behind Little Dot appeared a massive purple Suan Ni, as tall as the mountains, with cold, merciless eyes looking down on everyone.
It opened its enormous mouth, instantly causing dozens to be filled with terror and flee, but it was too late. As the purple mouth opened and closed, they were all thrown back, swallowed into the blazing maw.
It was a giant mouth of thunder. In an instant, dozens of people were obliterated and turned into ash, leaving almost nothing behind.
The entire group perished. When the Suan Ni disappeared and everything returned to calm, only some ashes fell from the sky, merging into the forest.
Apart from that, the mountains were empty, even the four corpses had been turned into dust by the Suan Ni. The place was very clean, with no residual blood or broken bones left.
Little Dot set off again, treading over withered branches and leaves, heading towards the edge of the mountains. The breeze blew, his clothes fluttered, and he had an otherworldly aura, not at all resembling someone who had just defeated a group of enemies.
Finally, the crowd arrived, and the various sects spotted him, as the earlier shouts had traveled far and wide.
“He’s here! Don’t let him escape!” Many shouted.
This time, it was truly a fight against everyone, with shadows everywhere as major sects surrounded him from all directions.
“Roar!”
Beast roars shook the heavens, and a group of fierce beasts appeared like a flood, enormous and ferocious. Some were like small mountains, trampling the ground with rumbling sounds, even directly crashing through low mountains to clear a path.
Leading them were several ancient species, all formidable. Some had scales that glowed, others had fur as smooth as silk, radiating dazzling light and carrying overwhelming ferocity, running with the pack of beasts.
The ground shook continuously, and the forest was filled with flying leaves.
The crowd was startled, hurriedly retreating to make way for them.
Leading the charge were the Blue-scaled Leopard, the Golden-eyed Dragon-horned Lion, and the Demon Ape, among other six top experts, each as imposing as a small mountain, with terrifying presence and eyes as large as millstones.
“These are the powerful beings from Xiling Beast Mountain. They have arrived as well. It seems there will be no easy way out. To obtain the Bronze Book of Gods, there will definitely be a bloody battle,” people thought anxiously.
“Clear the way!” The towering Blue-scaled Leopard roared. Its massive body shook, making the forest tremble. Its gaze was terrifying as it commanded, “Boy, come over here and hand over the Bronze Book of Gods!”
“Xiling Beast Mountain, why should he hand over the book to you?” Some powerful human sects protested, moving forward together.
“Indeed, the divine book is meant for whoever obtains it. It’s impossible to force and monopolize it,” some from ancient families also declared.
A standoff ensued among the beings. Loud shouts echoed. No one was willing to back down. Even with the ancient species present, they remained fearless.
With so many human experts, covering the mountains and fields, was there really fear of the leading ancient species? It seemed that no matter how strong, they couldn’t withstand the sheer number of people here.
“We don’t care about that. It’s crucial to deal with his life first.”
The members of the four major families—Kun, Li, Meng, and Yuan—also appeared. Some of them said that they held a deep grudge against Little Dot and hoped to kill him first before discussing the ownership of the Bronze Book.
"Yes, kill him first. We don't want to see his face anymore. We hope his life will disappear from this world forever," the members of the four families agreed.
Among them, several powerful individuals held demonic artifacts, aiming to ensure the defeat of both Little Dot's illusory and real bodies. They had drawn upon their family's resources and were willing to pay this price.
“Be quiet, you have no right to argue with us,” roared the Blue-scaled Leopard, its eyes as large as millstones emitting a fierce light, looking down on everyone.
“Be quiet, all of you,” Little Dot finally spoke up from the center of the encirclement, his eyes glaring as he could no longer endure it.
In an instant, the mountains fell silent. The numerous experts from the major sects, the many powerful figures from ancient families, and the ancient species from all directions, looked toward the center of the scene.
“Young man, do you know who you are talking to?” The Blue-scaled Leopard roared, its eyes blazing with fury, looking down at him.
“Seeking death,” Little Dot responded with just those four words.
“Seeking death!” The Blue-scaled Leopard, adorned with brilliant scales, slapped down with one massive paw. Given its size, this paw was enough to crush a mountain.
The crowd quickly retreated, not daring to stay. If such a colossal creature went berserk, the consequences would be unimaginable.
However, what astonished everyone was that Little Dot, with a light shout, also raised his fist and collided with the massive paw. During this clash, an unparalleled brilliance erupted, like a sun, enormous and dazzling, bursting forth from the boy’s fist, engulfing the Blue-scaled Leopard.
Everyone was stunned. What kind of divine might was this? The symbols emerging from the fist were terrifyingly powerful, covering the area like an overwhelming ocean.
Boom!
Accompanied by a tremendous explosion, the giant ancient species let out a mournful cry, quickly shattering into pieces and then exploding, with a blood rain mixed with golden light, looking both frightening and tragic.
“Heavens, what happened? Wasn't he supposed to be exhausted and out of energy? How could he have such combat power?”
Everyone was shocked. One punch alone had dealt with a massive ancient species. It was an astonishing and terrifying event.
“Li Clan, Kun Clan, Yuan Clan, do you still dare to come? Haven’t you learned your lesson from Hundred Broken Mountain?” Little Dot turned around, looking at the four major families' experts.
“You—”
The four groups recoiled in fear, all shocked. How could this be? It didn’t match the news they had received. They had heard that the boy was supposed to be dying, and some of their clan members had fought him in the last battle and confirmed it. Yet now, it was completely overturned.
“Vroom!”
Demonic artifacts soared into the air, suppressing the area.
The four major families attacked, taking an offensive stance and quickly retreating. They feared that if Little Dot counterattacked, they would have no chance.
Little Dot snorted coldly, his entire body glowing with golden light. Divine feathers flew out, transforming into countless heavenly swords, each as real and sharp as could be.
This was the Kunpeng’s divine technique, now unleashed by him in the Ten Cavern Heaven, like a deity suppressing enemies from all sides, showing terrifying might.
“Whoosh!”
One golden heavenly sword after another pierced through, causing numerous deaths and injuries among the four families’ forces. Their leaders were particularly targeted, losing their demonic artifacts. Little Dot retaliated with his own devastating power. The leaders of the four families were struck by the demonic artifacts and cried out in agony and fear before meeting their end.
In the forest, blood mist swirled and the sounds of slaughter filled the air. Little Dot, with golden wings extended, moved like a tiger among wolves, slaughtering the multitude.
These people had come for him, and he showed no mercy. He fought through blood and carnage, unleashing his most powerful techniques, leveling mountains in his wake.
In an instant, the area turned into a hellish scene. People fled in every direction, and defeated experts were everywhere. The forces of the ancient sects could not withstand the onslaught and began to flee for their lives.
“What’s happening?” A flock of fierce birds arrived, coming from Beitian Peak. They had flown over earlier and were now returning, witnessing this scene.
Boom!
Little Dot's gaze was icy as he raised his fist to the sky. A Kunpeng surged forth, its golden body streaked with black stripes, filling the sky. It immediately killed several leaders, with blood raining down and feathers falling.
“Run!”
The crowd was terrified and fled toward the edge of the mountains. The battle could not continue; if it went on, everyone would die.
Little Dot, like a demonic god, stepped over the corpses of his enemies, striding out of the mountains. He chased after the fleeing crowd, his unstoppable force like a tidal wave, with nothing capable of stopping him.
