“There’s no misunderstanding. Are you trying to kill me?” The Little Guy spoke calmly, standing in the center of the Forbidden Array, gazing at the group of people ahead, especially the one in the middle.
Shí Lì’s eyes were bright. Although he was old, he was still full of vigor. His cultivation was very high, and his health was robust, so he could easily live for several more decades.
He fixed his gaze on the Little Guy, squinting and revealing a glint of killing intent in his eyes, though he did not act immediately.
This was a powerful young man, known as the Supreme, who looked down on the Void Divine Realm, setting record after record, making Shí Lì extremely wary.
From what he had learned, this young man might become a formidable opponent for Shí Yì, causing him to feel a thorn in his heart and keep a close watch.
Today, upon hearing that the troublemaker had arrived, Shí Lì’s heart sank, and he rushed over to see the situation. He wanted to seize the opportunity.
Upon arrival, he saw the young man standing in the center of the array, at the core of the Forbidden Array, and he immediately felt murderous intent. If he could act quickly and eliminate him, it would be perfect.
For some reason, seeing this young man made him very uncomfortable, as if some future calamity was looming.
“Young man, you are being arrogant. Our Martial King’s Manor is not so easily bullied. By barging in like this, you are challenging the dignity of a national prince,” Shí Lì shouted, finally making up his mind.
Although this young man was incredibly powerful, now that he was standing at the core of the array, could he really defy the heavens? After all, this was an ancient great array, known as the Ancestral Array.
The Martial King’s Manor was one of the main veins of the Stone Kingdom, naturally possessing extraordinary methods. This was a法阵 (ritual array) passed down from the ancient祭灵 (ritual spirit). Its power was immense and terrifying.
The ritual spirit was worshipped by the entire nation and was known as an ancient deity. How could its legacy be inferior?
Initially, Shí Lì had concerns. After all, this young man had even consumed the Rain God’s decree. But seeing him now standing in the core of the array, a place where death was certain, he felt relieved.
Even if the troublemaker was incredibly powerful and could break the array, it would still be difficult to resolve the death calamity at the core.
“Elder Zong, he did not force his way in but came to visit and was brought here by us to observe,” an elder said with righteous indignation, while also feeling worried, fearing that any unexpected changes might lead to disaster.
Many wanted to kill the troublemaker, but was anyone successful? They all died in battle. Especially the major families. That was a harsh lesson. Even the Pure Land was swept away, a truly tragic scene.
“There is no need to fear him. You are all intimidated by his fierce reputation. There is actually no need to compromise,” Shí Lì said coldly. Although his hair was silver, it still shone brightly.
“If you have finished talking about killing me, you might as well take action,” the Little Guy said calmly, standing there unwaveringly, showing no fear.
“You...” Shí Lì felt as if he were punching air. The calmness of the opponent made his rage subside. At the same time, he felt a tinge of unease, wondering if something unexpected might occur under these circumstances.
The法阵 (ritual array) passed down from the divine spirits, although it would be suppressed here, should still be able to handle the troublemaker standing at the center.
Why the unease? His eyes were uncertain.
“If you don’t make a move, I will come out and deal with you,” the Little Guy said.
He looked ahead and recognized a familiar group of people, including those who had been Stone Yì’s uncles and brothers who had once protected Stone Yì and his mother, besieging his father.
However, in that battle, these people were no match at all. They were all knocked away by Shí Zǐlíng with his war spear and had suffered heavy injuries.
“Elder Zong, think twice,” an elder transmitted to Shí Lì, who had come to assist, fearing the worst.
“Kill!”
At that moment, Shí Lì waved his hand and gave the order. The array had long been activated, and streaks of rosy light flew through the air, appearing from all directions, making the place eerily bright, like a blazing sea of lightning.
Symbols intertwined in the sky, converging at one point, heading towards the troublemaker to suppress and kill him. This was the center of the array, gathering all the killing intent to grind him into dust.
However, at this moment, the troublemaker did not evade. From start to finish, he did not move, and suddenly a burst of indescribable light erupted from his body.
Ten heavens appeared and then seemed to explode, colliding together, and then everything was obscured from view.
The Little Guy did this intentionally. The ten heavens fused and formed the most dazzling divine ring, but did not allow people to see clearly, instead releasing essence that pierced into everyone’s eyes and senses like needles.
The scene was chaotic. People’s eyes bled, their five senses were lost, as if facing a divine being, filled with fear. Was this still human power? How could it be so terrifying, with such a vast difference even though they were in the same realm?
Explosions sounded in the array, deafening. The terrifying symbols burned and collided, like two mountains crashing together and then collapsing.
Shí Lì’s eyes swelled, retreating rapidly, feeling a surge of fear. He never expected that even after activating the Forbidden Array, it would not immediately kill the young man.
This was too frightening. This was the法阵 (ritual array) passed down by the Stone Kingdom’s ritual spirit, undoubtedly powerful to the extreme, representing the limits of the world’s permitted force. Standing at the core of the array was like having the blade of the Stone Kingdom’s ritual spirit placed at his neck, ready to be pushed with a light touch.
How could this be? The array was clearly engaged in battle and growing fiercer. The young man was about to break free.
“How is this possible?” He was horrified.
At the center of the Forbidden Array, the Little Guy was enveloped by the divine ring. The ten heavens opened in unison, forming a divine ring, showing dominance. This was not a gradual conquest but a crushing force.
The ten heavens emitted divine power, merging with his physical body, destroying many symbols imprinted in the void. He was powerful to the extreme.
Boom!
The ten heavens were also terrifyingly strong, rotating around the Little Guy, magnificent and overwhelming. They directly crushed the ground, breaking open the purified symbols and sweeping through.
This was divine might, a true invincible power.
The Little Guy pushed through, destroying the array as he advanced. The central array pattern was directly crushed under his foot, turning into dust.
Such a scene, such power, was horrifying. Because the ten heavens emitted piercing light, outsiders could not see the internal scene and thus thought he was still resisting.
In this way, the Little Guy swept through, destroying most of the symbols. The entire array was nearing total silence, losing its radiant light and patterns.
“Heavens, what happened? Why has the ancient array failed? Why are there no fluctuations?”
People were shocked. There was a lack of divine power fluctuations, a sign that the divine essence might be depleted. Had the array’s essence dried up? Were the symbols destroyed?
Boom!
In the end, with a deafening roar, the array disintegrated, and a dazzling sphere of light emerged, standing there like a descending deity, looking down on them.
The Little Guy dissipated the divine light, letting the ten heavens disperse, revealing the surroundings. Even so, he still seemed divine, giving off an unreachable feeling.
“This is the Forbidden Array of the Martial King’s Manor, nothing more,” the young Supreme shook his head. His words were calm, but to the listeners, they
This was truly a mythic scene—a young man instantly destroying the ritual array left by the Stone Kingdom’s ritual spirit. Was this real? It was hard to believe.
Everyone finally understood just how terrifying the troublemaker was. His reputation was indeed well-earned; his power was simply outrageous.
At that moment, an utter silence fell. Once they came to their senses, everyone’s hair stood on end because they knew disaster was imminent. They had actively provoked the troublemaker.
The Little Guy stepped forward, directly heading towards Shí Lì. The ten heavens glowed, and with a thunderous roar, the place was filled with dazzling symbols, resembling the divine realm.
“Ah!” Shí Lì screamed, summoning his protective arts and turning to flee.
However, the Little Guy’s actions were simple. With a wave of his hand, golden symbols appeared in the void, seemingly freezing the space.
Then, Shí Lì was sent flying backward, maintaining his original motion, and quickly appeared in front of the Little Guy. He was grabbed and thrown to the ground, where he was stomped on.
At this point, the golden symbols vanished, and the scene was left with only the boy covered in light, standing on Shí Lì’s body, looking down at him and saying, “With you alone, do you think you can kill me?”
Just a few words made Shí Lì’s anger surge, nearly causing him to spit out blood. When had he ever been so despised? The disdain in those eyes was too great; it was as if he was completely disregarded.
“You...” Shí Lì’s old face flushed red, but he was pinned down, unable to move.
“What’s with you? Having an elder like you in the Martial King’s Manor is really embarrassing,” the Little Guy said, shaking his head.
Though the young man was known as the Supreme of the Ten Heavens, Shí Lì couldn’t bear it. He had lived for such a long time, holding a high position and immense power, yet was so scorned by a child.
“Bleh!” Shí Lì spat out blood, unable to endure any longer.
The Little Guy applied more pressure with his foot, and Shí Lì coughed up even more blood. How could he withstand such a foot?
Then, the Little Guy revealed a Soul Extinguishing Needle, gleaming with a blood-red light and emanating a chilling aura.
At this moment, Shí Lì was petrified, frozen in place. No one feared death more than him, and yet he was powerless to resist. The disaster he had brought upon himself was entirely self-inflicted, and he felt immense regret.
“It would be a bit of a waste to use the Soul Extinguishing Needle on you,” the Little Guy muttered to himself.
Upon hearing this, Shí Lì initially felt some relief but then was filled with intense anger. He was a grand elder, someone whose stomp could shake the world, yet here he was being treated with such contempt. It was even more painful than being killed.
“There are some things you haven’t seen the outcome of yet. Dying now would be too easy for you,” the Little Guy continued to himself.
He wanted to ascend to the Martial King’s Manor in the real world in the future and tell them that Shí Hào was still alive and still in this world. He wanted those who had defeated his Supreme Bone to witness the result themselves.
After all, he was still a child, filled with anger and resentment, wanting to fight back.
“Go back, clean your neck, and live well,” the Little Guy whispered. These words were not heard clearly by the crowd. Then he shouted, “Get out of here and stop embarrassing yourselves.”
“Poof!”
He stomped on Shí Lì with one foot, killing him simply and directly, as if crushing an insect.
“And you all, you’re not even worth using the Soul Extinguishing Needle on. Such a waste,” the Little Guy said, raising his hand. Golden symbols filled the sky, and then there were popping sounds ahead as everyone exploded into a blood mist.
The troops brought by Shí Lì were all annihilated, turning into a sea of blood.
