Chapter 134: Devouring

Chapter 134: Devouring

Where did this little rascal come from?

How did he appear here?

The members of the Rain Clan were going mad. Where was the justice in this? Was this some divine punishment? This was beyond cruel—falling from the sky like that! What would be left of the divine liquid after such a shock? The True Water of Taiyi would surely be frightened and flee.

The people of the Rain Clan were on the verge of tears. This divine liquid wasn’t meant to be drunk; it could be used as a medicinal catalyst or to forge treasure tools. Even if you were going to drink it, how could you just fall from the sky like that?

The True Water of Taiyi washed the grime off the little one's face, and they immediately recognized him. It was as if their fury ignited, their anger overwhelming. They were about to explode with rage.

"It’s you!"

"Damn it!"

The Rain Clan members erupted, smoke practically pouring from their ears. They were ready to combust.

After all their hard work, exhausting every effort, and even using the decree of the Rain God, they were just about to succeed when suddenly, this brat fell from the sky, startling the True Water of Taiyi.

The Rain Clan had no choice but to accept this harsh reality—it wasn’t an illusion. The little brat was still splashing around in the water, rolling about and gulping it down like there was no tomorrow.

The members of the Rain Clan screamed in agony. This was worse than having their flesh carved out. They knew it was over; they couldn’t save the True Water of Taiyi.

"Kill him!"

"No, grab the divine water! Don’t let it escape!"

These were two very different voices, representing two factions within the Rain Clan. The first was mad with rage, determined to smash the little brat into pulp. The latter, still rational, aimed to collect as much divine liquid as possible to prevent it from vanishing into the desert.

Despite their differing opinions, they moved as one, some aiming for the little one’s head, while others prepared vessels to collect the water.

"Boom!"

The area erupted in chaos, symbols flying everywhere, filling the air with a dense array of patterns.

Naturally, the True Water of Taiyi had long been startled and began to struggle fiercely, trying to escape from the jade cauldron.

"Stay!"

The little one shouted softly, taking out a precious orb that glowed brilliantly, forming a light screen that blocked all the incoming attacks and temporarily calmed the True Water of Taiyi.

The Rain Clan members were both shocked and enraged. Their attacks had failed; the symbols were blocked, and the light screen was proving difficult to break through. What kind of treasure was this?

"It’s the Fixing Light Orb!"

Rain Wencheng roared, the veins on his forehead bulging. At such a critical moment, the opponent had brought out this rare treasure, leaving them helpless and frantic.

"It’s a fragment of the ancient Fixing Light Orb! Quick, let’s attack together—it can be broken through!" they shouted.

Everyone exerted their strength, interweaving various symbols and fiercely bombarding the light screen.

"Use your physical strength and weapons to strike! Any glowing symbols will be interfered with and fixed in place!" Yu Kun ordered the talented disciples.

Around the jade cauldron, various weapons were brandished simultaneously, smashing down with a clanging sound, as if they were hammering iron, causing a ringing in everyone’s ears.

The little one held the Fixing Light Orb, ignoring everything else, gulping down the divine liquid. The orb in his hand was a rare treasure brought by Xiao Tian, specifically to stabilize the True Water of Taiyi and prevent it from escaping.

Clearly, this was just a fragment; the internal symbols were too damaged and could only function partially, unable to completely stabilize the water.

The True Water of Taiyi, having just calmed down, began to boil again after a short while.

"No, stop!" the little one cried out. Although he was gulping down the water, the divine liquid was sentient and began forcing its way out through his nostrils.

Moreover, after drinking it, the divine liquid would flow backward, desperately trying to escape.

In the end, his ears and eyes began to glow as the divine water turned into spiritual energy, unwilling to be subdued. Even his pores emitted a divine radiance.

"It’s turning into a spirit!"

The little one was distressed, so he started to refine the divine liquid using the arcane symbols recorded in the Primal True Scripture. He closed his pores, sealed his seven apertures, and focused solely on swallowing.

"Gulp, gulp."

The little one drank with all his might, while the True Water of Taiyi struggled to escape through his mouth. But in the end, more was swallowed than escaped.

The members of the Rain Clan were going crazy. This little brat was outrageous. This was meant for alchemy and refining artifacts—how could he just recklessly gulp it down like this? Could he even handle it?

"Break it open and kill him!" A group of people roared in fury.

"Open it up!" They wielded their weapons and cast their treasure techniques, but they still couldn’t shatter the light screen.

"Ouch, why does my stomach hurt?" The little one, splashing in the divine water, raised his head, his big eyes rolling around.

"That damn brat! Keep drinking; your body will explode sooner or later!" Yu Kun cursed, jumping with rage.

The little one blinked his big eyes. Since it was divine liquid and could be used as a sacred medicinal catalyst, it shouldn’t be a problem to consume it, right? He continued gulping it down.

"Stop drinking! It needs to be refined before use! You’ve already swallowed several pounds of it!" Someone from the Rain Clan was almost in tears; this was too wasteful.

The little one ignored them, covering his nose and ears, closing his pores, and swallowing as fast as he could until his belly bulged.

"Buzz."

The Fixing Light Orb dimmed, on the verge of losing its effectiveness.

The little one knew there wasn’t much time left, so he quickly took out a jade jar, filled it with divine liquid, and then stuffed the Fixing Light Orb into it. He summoned the golden bone scissors and, with a "snip," cut through the jade cauldron, kicking it away.

The members of the Rain Clan went berserk, rushing forward to collect the divine liquid. Unfortunately, the liberated True Water of Taiyi transformed into a misty rainbow and began fleeing from them.

"Chase it!"

A group of people shouted, some attacking the little one, trying to kill him, while others used vessels to capture the escaping mist, hoping to obtain some of the divine liquid.

The place descended into complete chaos. The little one took advantage of the disorder, stomping on a flying treasure and using the force to leap into the sky.

"You won’t escape!"

The members of the Rain Clan, their eyes bloodshot, screamed in fury. The little one had fallen from the sky and shattered their grand dreams, crushing their hopes of rising as a clan from the heavens to the depths of the abyss. Their grudge was enormous—they wouldn’t be satisfied even if they killed him ten times over.

"Let’s see if you can fly away!"

The Rain Clan members roared, casting treasure techniques to seal off all directions. Some even stepped on treasures, soaring into the sky to pursue him.

"He flew away! Damn it, he really flew away!"

The members of the Rain Clan cried out in disbelief, their eyes almost popping out. A giant fiery red bird leisurely arrived, flapping its beautiful wings, catching the little one. With an elegant and flamboyant turn, it glanced back with a smile and flew off.

Rain Wencheng and Yu Kun’s faces turned dark purple. It was that damn big red bird again! They had lost the little one earlier but hadn’t mentioned the bird to the rest of the clan, so no one else knew it existed.

"Kill him! I want him dead!"

The members of the Rain Clan wailed in anguish, tears streaming down their faces. All their efforts had been in vain. The True Water of Taiyi, after being startled, could no longer be summoned. It, along with the spirit vine, had burrowed into the ground and escaped without a trace.

This was more painful than death. The hope of their clan’s rise had been utterly destroyed by this brat. They were on the verge of madness.

They had even brought the divine decree, believing they would succeed, only for this wretched little brat t

Yu Wencheng and Yu Kun were trembling with anger, white smoke billowing from their nostrils and flames shooting from their ears. Their eyes were seeing stars, as if an ancient wild bull had stomped on their heads, leaving them on the verge of fainting.

Finally, they staggered and summoned their treasures to begin the chase.

"We got it!" The big red bird, carrying the little one, had a crafty gleam in its eyes as it stared at the jar in the little one’s hand.

"Umph!" As soon as the little one opened his mouth, brilliant light spewed out, and some of the True Water of Taiyi escaped.

"Oh my, how much did you drink? You’ve even started spitting fire like me!" The big red bird exclaimed in astonishment.

The little one yanked a handful of feathers from the big red bird, pulling out some blood, which he quickly smeared on his face before making a few changes.

The big red bird screeched, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing, stop shouting," the little one replied.

The big red bird glanced back at him and was instantly infuriated. It turned out the brat was just disguising his appearance and had plucked its feathers and drawn its blood for that purpose. How hateful!

Before long, they rushed to the silver-robed youth. Xiao Tian leaped up, joining them on the bird’s back, his eyes filled with excitement as he looked at the jade jar in the little one’s hand.

"You really did it!" His voice trembled with emotion.

"Yes, it was a success." As the little one spoke, his mouth once again began to emit radiant light.

"Why did you directly swallow the divine liquid?" Xiao Tian was so shocked that his jaw nearly dropped. Although it was a sacred substance, could it really be consumed like that?

The little one covered his mouth, mumbling, "Isn't it supposed to be a sacred medicinal catalyst? I figured it could be eaten. Now, think of something quickly—I can’t open my mouth without the True Water of Taiyi spraying out. It’s such a waste."

"Shameful, such extravagant waste," the big red bird scoffed, though it was immensely envious. Turning its head, it suggested, "Why don’t you let the divine water gush out? I’ll help you refine it—I don’t mind it being dirty."

"Get lost!" The little one’s mouth was glowing as he said this, then he dared not speak again, puffing up his cheeks and widening his eyes, utterly helpless.

The silver-robed youth was speechless. This companion of his was truly something else—who would do such a thing? It was rare to see someone so outlandish.

"Let’s find a place for you to slowly refine it, or something might go wrong," Xiao Tian said, a bit worried.

The little one kept his mouth covered, unable to speak. They quickly sped off into the distance, leaving the vast desert behind and entering the depths of an endless primordial mountain range.

When they landed on a spiritual mountain, Xiao Tian sighed, "Brother, are you alright? Not to be critical, but you didn’t need to be so reckless. As good as the True Water of Taiyi is, your stomach isn’t the place for it."

"You don’t understand the world of a ruthless kid," the big red bird commented.

"Shut up," the little one snapped, kicking the bird, though his mouth began to emit radiant light again.

The big red bird, unfazed, happily followed behind him, constantly eyeing the jar and muttering, "Let’s see if this ruthless brat really doesn’t have any issues after drinking the divine liquid. If he’s fine, I might just use my own belly to store it too."

The little one sat down cross-legged and began refining the liquid. He frowned, feeling a bit uneasy—could it really cause problems?

Ancient texts mentioned that this divine liquid could be refined into sacred medicine, so why was it trying to escape after being swallowed? His face twisted in frustration; he couldn’t even open his mouth to speak now.

"Eat it all, eat it all!" he muttered through clenched lips.

"Truly ruthless," the big red bird remarked.

The silver-robed youth wanted to laugh at the little one’s predicament, but he held back. He found his companion’s style rather unique.

"This approach feels familiar." Xiao Tian didn’t dwell on the thought, though, as he was too excited, clu
