A group of children were very excited and elated, rushing over to surround Little Stone and chattering animatedly.
"Little Dot, you're amazing! You defeated them with a single slap each, and even the leader who knew the Firelight Spell couldn't hold out."
"When can I be like you and kill those bandits as easily as mowing down grass?"
With dozens of bandits defeated, Shi Feixiao and the others showed no mercy, tossing the bodies into the mountains to feed the beasts. These bandits had blood on their hands, and letting them go would be like punishing the innocent and promoting evil. More people would suffer.
As for the bandits' mounts, some were too ferocious to tame and were slaughtered to become food for the villagers. However, a dozen or so were fierce yet relatively docile and became the villagers' new mounts.
"Haha, Little Dot, you’ve done a great job! These beasts are excellent mounts, though the only downside is their ferocity—they need to consume blood and flesh every day."
Shi Linhu, Shi Feixiao, and the others were very pleased. Even though they hadn't ridden the unicorns yet, having a group of excellent beasts to substitute was still quite satisfactory.
These bandits’ mounts were naturally not subpar, being perfectly suited for traversing the wilderness. Despite their bloodthirsty fangs and scales, once tamed, they could indeed be considered fine mounts.
As the red sun set, the villagers were in high spirits. They cooked the slain beasts in a big pot until tender, then roasted them over a fire until golden and shiny, emitting a mouthwatering aroma.
They ate heartily while discussing the day's events. With the bandits defeated, their long pent-up frustration was finally released.
"It feels great! These bandits must have harmed countless small tribes. Today, we finally got our revenge without any guilt."
"Little Dot, you’re incredible! I saw how easily you countered that leader's terrifying Firelight Spell. You're becoming more impressive, haha!"
The adults laughed heartily, teasing Little Stone.
"Here, I’ve specially prepared a pot of beast milk for you. Drink up," said a middle-aged man with a scruffy beard, approaching with a pot.
Little Dot felt a bit embarrassed but skillfully took the pot and drank. After just one sip, he exclaimed, "You tricked me! It's berry juice!"
"Ha ha ha," everyone burst into laughter.
After the laughter subsided, the old patriarch's expression turned serious as he stood by the bonfire and warned the crowd, "The bandits have been dealt with, but if we don't return soon, the main force and that evil spirit will definitely come looking for us."
"Grandpa, I'll go take care of the aftermath," Little Dot stood up.
The villagers were worried. Although Little Dot was strong, he was still just a child, and there were many powerful enemies, including a terrifying evil spirit.
An evil spirit represented mystery and power and required respect and worship from the tribe. It was extremely difficult to deal with, and no one wanted to become enemies with such a being.
"This is an evil spirit. I’ll find a way to deal with it," Little Dot spoke firmly, repeatedly reassuring the villagers that he wouldn't act recklessly. If things went awry, he would retreat immediately.
The unicorn, Little White, would naturally accompany him, ready to quickly carry him away in times of crisis.
Before setting out, Little Dot suggested that the villagers should relocate first and not stay behind. Everyone agreed, and the patriarch also felt this was wise. Since the outcome of tonight's battle was uncertain, if Little Dot failed, the entire village would face bloody retribution.
"Child, I will go with you," the patriarch insisted on joining.
"No, Grandpa, you have hidden injuries and cannot fight. Leave this to me," Little Dot shook his head firmly.
"Child, you’re making things difficult for yourself," the adults felt ashamed.
"This is what I should do. Let’s go."
Ultimately, Little Dot set off alone, riding a single steed, heading towards the edge of the earth with great resolve, ready to confront the powerful bandits on his own.
He had already learned from the bandits about their stronghold and now sped through the wilderness like a silver whirlwind.
The unicorn galloped swiftly, crossing mountains and ravines, with the scenery flying by. After half an hour, they finally approached the destination.
Under the dim moonlight, wild beasts roared in the mountains.
This was a higher-altitude area with simple fences where the bandits had temporarily set up camp. They were nomadic and had adapted well to this lifestyle.
The campfires flickered, and the bandits were eating wild game, sitting in groups of three or five around the fire, tearing into roasted meat and chatting.
Nearby, some fierce beasts were either tied to ancient trees or locked to giant stones, all looking quite menacing.
This was a simple mountain stronghold, with a few guards on lookout, always wary of wild beasts in the vast wilderness, as powerful monsters could appear at any moment.
Little Dot rode in, mounted on the silver unicorn, like a celestial general descending from the heavens, turning into a streak of silver light as he arrived.
"Who goes there?" the guards at the mountain gate shouted.
"Little White, hide for now," Little Dot said, leaping off and landing on the ground. He then tossed the furball back onto the unicorn's back.
"How strange, a little kid has come here," the guards were astonished but didn't dare to underestimate him. The more unusual it was, the more they were on high alert.
"Someone has invaded the stronghold!" they shouted, sending word inside.
Unfazed, Little Dot marched forward, exuding the aura of an undefeated general. Despite his small size, he had an imposing presence, carrying a commanding air.
"Stop!" a bandit blocked his path, wielding a spear and thrusting it fiercely.
"Bang!"
Little Dot raised his hand, slapped the spear, and with a snap, the spear broke. The bandit was flung several dozen meters away, crashing into a giant boulder and collapsing there, unable to move.
"He's so strong," the bandits gasped, retreating quickly. They drew their bows, launching a volley of iron arrows, which whizzed through the air with a ghostly wail, aiming at Little Dot, precise and fierce.
"Buzz."
Little Dot's left hand traced a circle, forming a whirlpool of runes that spun rapidly. The dense rain of iron arrows was sucked in and ground into powder, falling to the ground.
"Heavens, a little monster!" The bandits were astonished. Despite their many battles and encounters, they had never seen such a terrifyingly powerful child.
Little Dot slapped out, and with the runes spreading across the sky, the arriving bandits were sent flying like straw, crashing into the boulders behind them, spitting blood and unable to rise.
"Enemy attack, prepare for battle!" The sharp cry rang out, and the stronghold fell into chaos as all the bandits stood up.
Little Dot, undaunted, continued his rampage, defeating bandits with ease. With little effort, he broke the bones and tendons of over twenty bandits, rendering them powerless.
"Incredible, it's just a child," a leader emerged, his eyes glowing with fascination as he watched Little Dot intently.
Shi Hao stepped forward as if entering an uninhabited realm, continuing his assault. Seeing this, the leader charged at him with great speed, his body glowing with precious light, and armor materialized, enveloping him.
"Well, it's not crocodile scales but armor made from pangolin scales," the man roared like a giant crocodile, his shiny scales glinting fiercely as he charged forward.
"Boom!"
Little Dot slapped out, sending everyone else flying, their bones breaking. Only this man, despite being tossed around by the tremendous force, managed to get back up.
"Could it be a magical artifact?" Little Dot's eyes sparkled. Such things were rare. He quickly advanced and struck again.
"Come on!" the man roared, raising his hand to counter, his treasure talisman glowing. His palm shone like a beast's claw.
"Bang!"
Little Dot remained unmoved, while the man's arm twitched and deformed. Although the armor was impressive, it couldn't fully protect him, and his arm bones shattered.
"You..." He could hardly believe it. The enemy before him was so young yet so powerful, far beyond imagination. How could a child of this age reach such a level?
"Again!" Little Dot stepped forward and struck once more, wanting to test if the opponent's scales were indeed a magical artifact and how effective they were.
"Boom!"
This time, the bandit leader was thrown sideways, his other arm broken, and his chest caved in. Large patches of scales fell off, unable to withstand Little Dot's immense strength.
"Unfortunately, it’s not a magical artifact. The runes on the scales are incomplete," Little Dot shook his head.
The bandits were dumbfounded. This was a leader, incredibly powerful, yet he had only managed to hold off a few attacks from this child before collapsing like a heap of mud, unable to rise.
"You useless fools, can’t you even stop a child?" At this moment, a middle-aged man's voice boomed, sounding like a golden bell resonating.
Little Dot stopped. He sensed a true master approaching, with an intense fluctuation of runes, like a fierce beast waking from slumber.
The man had thick black hair, mostly white eyeballs, with pupils of a faint golden color. His aura was incredibly strong, and each step he took made the ground tremble, as if a colossal being were approaching.
This was the real leader among the bandits, commanding over a hundred strong warriors, possessing exceptional skills and accompanied by a powerful evil spirit—no ordinary person.
"Hiss..."
A firelight flared up, spreading instantly into a sea of flames that engulfed Little Dot's surroundings.
The middle-aged man struck suddenly, without extra words. His Firelight Spell was far more powerful than before.
With a sizzling sound, a small river nearby was evaporated, and the surrounding rocks turned into magma, making the area like an active volcano, bubbling and intensely hot.
Little Dot was astonished. This was a genuine master, far beyond his expectations. He had thought only the evil spirit was frightening, but the leader himself was also extraordinary.
"Buzz."
He clasped his hands together, and a silver moon rose, spinning rapidly to absorb the firelight and then enlarging, covering the area with a silver disc. This was a spell he had learned from Ziyun, Dapeng, and Little Qing.
"You’re the child from that village, and you're so powerful?" The middle-aged man was startled to see Little Dot neutralize his Firelight Spell. His sharp memory recalled where he had seen Little Dot before.
The last time he visited Stone Village, he had sat on a fierce beast, watching coldly from the rear, without any display of emotion. His sharp gaze had left an impression, and now he recognized Little Dot.
Facing this enemy, Little Dot didn't dare to be careless. His runes flashed as he prepared to attack with his spells.
At this moment, the middle-aged man’s whole body glowed, and he roared, "Evil spirit, grant me power!"
With a thunderous boom, his body seemed to ignite, transforming into a humanoid pangolin. The brilliance was intense as he stood, swinging his tail and preparing the most powerful attack.
"Swipe!"
He swung his glowing giant claw through the air, reaching for Little Dot. The sound of his attack was deafening, with divine runes filling the sky.
Little Dot’s aura was solemn. With a soft shout, he cast his spell, and a massive silver moon appeared behind him, about ten feet in diameter. It illuminated the area brilliantly, like a resplendent divine ring protecting him in the center.
The silver radiance surged from the moon, clashing with the giant claw, creating a violent collision and exploding into a shower of brilliant light.
The scene was both stunning and beautiful. Little Dot was enveloped in the silver divine moon, surrounded by a holy glow, resembling a small celestial deity.
On the other side, the humanoid pangolin roared, "Last time, if I had razed that village, perhaps there wouldn’t be so many issues now. Have you recently broken through?"
"Indeed," Little Dot did not deny. Three volcanic craters appeared in the void, spewing "magma," which was divine essence, nourishing his body.
"What?" The powerful middle-aged man was shocked. To break through and immediately open three realms was unheard of, almost fantastical, and frighteningly intimidating.
"I didn’t expect such an unparalleled talent to emerge in this wilderness," the middle-aged man roared, his pangolin form glowing fiercely. "I should have destroyed that village sooner."
Little Dot's eyes were bright, and the silver moon behind him radiated sacred light, enveloping and protecting him, making him appear more like a deity.
The two engaged in a fierce battle. After several dozen exchanges, the silver moon behind Little Dot suddenly trembled. With a bird's cry, a giant primordial demon bird appeared, rapidly enlarging and covering the entire mountain.
"Whoosh!"
The primordial demon bird soared through the air, its claw descending to shatter the middle-aged man's countless runes, tearing off his arm and shoulder in a bloody spray, almost splitting him in half.
"Ah!"
The middle-aged man returned to human form, his glow fading as he collapsed in a pool of blood, extremely unwilling and dim-eyed, with the fierce light in his eyes vanishing. He murmured, "I’ve trained for half my life, only breaking through to the Celestial Realm at thirty, and now at over fifty, I haven’t reached a higher level. Yet, a mere child has reached the same height as me."
He was frustrated, his expression complex. For a child like Little Dot to be so incredibly powerful was shocking and disheartening.
The bandits were stunned. The once-revered leader had been defeated by a seven or eight-year-old child, who had forcefully severed his arm, leaving them both shocked and trembling.
"Boom," "Boom!"
The ground shook, and a pale golden colossal being appeared in the night, resembling a brilliant golden mountain, turning the landscape into gold.
The evil spirit had arrived, its eyes cold as two golden lanterns, radiating a terrifying light, focusing on Little Dot with murderous intent.
Little Dot remained calm and fearless, murmuring, "Evil spirit, mysterious and powerful, with many secrets. I’ve never killed one before."
