Chapter 71: The Beauty

Chapter 71: The Beauty

Little Dot's large, bright eyes and his tattered animal skin clothes made him seem so shy and simple that the entire group couldn’t help but smile.

"Little brother, you're so shy—it's really cute," the leading woman said with a gentle laugh. Her eyes sparkled, her eyelashes fluttered, and her fair, translucent face gleamed with an enchanting glow.

Little Dot scratched his head and gave a silly smile, saying nothing more. Next to him, the fluffy ball looked even more foolish, like a naive little beast, listlessly lying on his shoulder.

"Child, you’re quite extraordinary. With all those bloodstains on you, you must have fought quite a few fierce birds and beasts," the old woman said, her silver eyes flashing with a chilling light that was profound and inscrutable.

"Yes, the mountains are very dangerous and the beasts are fierce. I had to defend myself passively," Little Dot nodded seriously.

"Little brother, you must have been separated from your grandfather for many days, or else how could your animal skin clothes be so tattered?" The leading woman smiled gently, her eyes sparkling with a dream-like quality, making her incredibly beautiful and captivating. Even those around her seemed awed.

"Mm, Grandpa brought me here for training. He said this is a serious trial journey, and I have to rely on myself. As long as there's no danger to my life, he won’t interfere," Little Dot answered "honestly," as if unable to hide anything.

The group was taken aback. To dare send a child alone into the wilderness and subject them to such harsh training showed the demeanor of a master.

The old woman’s pupils were silver, with symbols revolving like the rising and setting sun and moon, exuding a powerful aura. She nodded. Some excellent young lords had fearsome masters accompanying them for trials, but it was rare to see a child facing fierce birds and beasts alone in such a perilous wilderness.

A middle-aged man nodded and said, "In recent years, several extraordinary children have emerged across this vast land, traversing tens of thousands of miles of wilderness without adult accompaniment and fighting various fierce birds and beasts, successfully returning to their clans."

Clearly, this group was no ordinary crowd. Even though Little Dot appeared very simple, they did not fully trust him and remained very discerning.

"Little brother, you wouldn’t happen to be such a prodigy, would you? Traversing tens of thousands of miles of wilderness alone without adult protection?" The beautiful and lively woman asked with a smile, brushing her black hair, revealing her fairy-like white and translucent ears, which was enchanting and ethereal.

"A person crossing tens of thousands of miles alone, that’s incredible. Aren’t you afraid of encountering ancient relic species?" Little Dot asked in astonishment, his eyes wide.

The group exchanged glances, believing his words, as his eyes were so pure and untainted that they naturally inspired trust and goodwill. A child capable of traversing tens of thousands of miles through wild mountain ranges was astonishing, and encountering such a person was unlikely.

Suddenly, the young woman moved. In her flowing white dress, she twisted her slender waist and approached like a delicate willow. Her white jade-like arm swept out, aiming at Little Dot.

Little Dot was startled. Why did she suddenly attack after speaking so nicely? But his reaction was swift. Over the past year or two, he had continuously fought against the forces of nature, been baptized in mountain floods, and battled fierce birds. When he moved, his demeanor completely changed.

Little Dot's eyes shone with an intense light, like two small torches. His body moved like a crane in flight, tracing a graceful arc. With a quick motion, he grabbed the woman’s delicate arm with a sharp snap, pulling her off balance and lowering her body.

Who would have thought that a child could exhibit such astonishing strength with a single arm? Despite his youth and blinking eyes, his movements were as swift as lightning.

Everything happened so fast. Little Dot’s figure spun rapidly, positioning himself behind the falling woman. With a powerful grip, he held her snow-white neck with his left arm and used his right hand to press a glowing symbol against her chest, ready to penetrate it at any moment.

All these actions were completed in the blink of an eye, as fast as lightning, leaving the group stunned. The white-clad woman, of such status, was caught off guard by a child.

"Sister, why are you trying to hurt me?" Little Dot’s voice was youthful and puzzled, but his eyes were sharp, focusing not on the woman but on the old woman and the others.

His tattered animal skin clothes were stained with dark red beast blood, and even his small hands were covered with dried blood, leaving dirty handprints on the woman’s white, crystalline chest.

Similarly, the swan-like white neck also had a few dark handprints, starkly contrasting with the pure, smooth skin.

Not far away, several young men looked surprised, while the old woman spoke gently, "Child, we meant no harm."

"Whoosh"

The white-clad woman’s transparent skin revealed dense symbols, like a celestial script, intricately inscribed in the air. She was enveloped in radiance, slipping away like a fish, escaping Little Dot’s grasp.

Little Dot was startled. This woman was truly extraordinary, slipping out effortlessly, her delicate, white skin as agile as a fish in water, impossible to hold onto.

"Little brother, you're really something," the young woman said with a smile. She was genuinely surprised to have been briefly restrained by a child. If word of this spread, it would certainly cause a stir given her status.

As the beautiful woman slipped away, Little Dot relaxed and did not pursue her. He looked at her innocently and said, "Sister, what was that for?"

"I just wanted to see your abilities. Truly impressive for such a young age. I sensed a vast potential," the white-clad woman said, nodding.

"Oh, I see," Little Dot smiled, feeling embarrassed. "Sorry, sister."

The group looked at the beautiful woman’s chest, where the handprints were still quite visible on her exposed, glistening skin, as well as on her white neck.

The beautiful woman smiled, showing no embarrassment or anger. With a gentle sweep of her slender hand, the glowing traces vanished instantly.

"My name is Xia Youyu. What is your name, little brother?"

"I’m Haotian," Little Dot replied in a clear voice.

"That name..." The group was taken aback.

"Impressive, a good name," Xia Youyu said with a charming smile.

The old woman also smiled kindly, saying, "The child is truly remarkable. Even if Youyu had been more careful, being caught off guard by you in an instant is still very impressive."

Xia Youyu gathered her black, glossy hair, her fair face, and her delicate, fairy-like ears. Her large, sparkling eyes made her look ethereal and enchanting. She held out a shimmering object from her palm, resembling neither gold nor stone, with intricate patterns engraved on it.

"What is that?" Little Dot asked curiously.

Xia Youyu handed it to him and said, "Little brother, keep this carefully. You can give it to your elders later, and they will take you to the Bu Tian Pavilion."

"Bu Tian Pavilion?" Little Dot was puzzled, not knowing what kind of place it was.

"Have you heard of the Zhulou Academy? It means ‘the deer academy’ in reference to gathering heroes. This academy recruits exceptional talents from this vast land and guides their cultivation. The Bu Tian Pavilion, along with the Divine King Hall, is on par with it."

Little Dot thought for a moment but did not ask further, sincerely expressing his thanks.

The people around were astonished. They hadn’t expected Xia Youyu to give the symbol plate to this child who resembled a wild little savage. Such an item was not ordinary at all.

In the end, Little Dot bade them farewell, saying he would continue to hone himself. He mounted the unicorn and crossed the mountains. Throughout the journey, the fluffy ball remained droopy and listless, with vacant eyes, resembling an ordinary little mountain beast.

"Youyu, you were sent on a mission to the western border and only had eight symbol plates. This was the last one, and you gave it to this child?" a middle-aged man asked.

A young man sighed, "Holding such a symbol plate to enter the Bu Tian Pavilion means an elevated status. Various treasures, medicinal herbs, and secret techniques will be given priority. Such symbol plates are worth their weight in gold."

"Indeed, Youyu. The Rain Clan of the Stone Kingdom is eager to acquire this last symbol plate from you for one of their exceptionally powerful descendants to gain entry into the Bu Tian Pavilion. Aren’t you reconsidering?" the middle-aged man said.

"Given their status and position, their descendant should be quite capable. Passing the trials to enter the Bu Tian Pavilion shouldn’t be a problem. Would they still lack the treasures and herbs that the symbol plate can grant?" Xia Youyu said dismissively.

"Such ancient families care about their face," the old woman added.

"Then they can seek it from others. My task to the western border is complete, and all the symbol plates have been given away," Xia Youyu said with a smile.

The middle-aged man reminded, "The Rain Clan is very powerful. We can’t afford to offend them easily, especially in the coming years, as they are destined for great achievements. They are the maternal family of that child from the Shi Clan."

The old woman frowned upon hearing this and said, "In that case, I will try to obtain another symbol plate. Some nobles must not be easily offended."

"No matter what, the child we saw just now is extraordinary. I feel that if I hadn’t acted, the Zhulou Academy’s people would have definitely taken it back. If that happened, the Bu Tian Pavilion would regret it," the white-clad woman said. They were merely passing through while searching for the ancient relic species, the Five-Colored Divine Egg, and it was not their ultimate goal.

"Is he really that strong?" someone nearby asked.

"His potential is astonishing. His little arm alone can wield at least tens of thousands of pounds of divine strength," Xia Youyu said, her enchanting smile gone, now serious.

"Such a young child, possessing that much divine strength with just his physical body?" The others were incredulous, realizing why the white-clad woman had stumbled and nearly fallen.

"Well, from my assessment, if this seemingly simple child isn’t hiding his true strength, his combined arm strength must be at least ten thousand pounds, purely physical strength," the old woman added solemnly.

"What?" The group exclaimed in shock.

"That’s impossible. Ten thousand pounds of divine strength with just a single arm swing. That’s approaching the extreme level of ancient beast trials for younglings."

"This is definitely an extraordinary prodigy, worth competing for and nurturing," they said.
