The mountaintop was broad, scattered with various massive rocks. Upon reaching the deepest part of the stone forest, one couldn't help but marvel at the many stones adorned with vivid patterns, such as the Golden Crow chasing lightning, the Qiniu treading the sea, and the Kunpeng spreading its wings, each with a distinct shape.
The ancient relics come in a variety of forms, their meanings unknown. Many prodigies from ancient times have meditated here, yet none have gained any insights. Perhaps these are just records of past splendor.
"Treasures, treasures, where could they be?" Little Dot murmured.
The stone forest was vast, filled with countless boulders. Despite his careful probing, he found nothing. Even using the runes recorded in the Primitive Truths to communicate was of no use.
"What's going on? Several beings have already found treasures. Why haven’t I found anything?" Little Dot scratched his head, puzzled.
He turned left and right and saw several sealers huddled together, discussing something. Some were wiping a massive rock, while others were carefully sensing.
Little Dot approached from behind, patted one of their shoulders, and said, "Hey, what have you found?"
"Ah, nothing at all," the elder shook his head. Then he realized something was off. This voice didn’t sound right. Why was it so young? They all turned around simultaneously.
They saw a dirty-faced kid with bright eyes standing on a green stone, tiptoeing to pat one of their shoulders, looking very familiar.
"Go away," the elder who was patted was so angry his beard stood on end. This was a mortal enemy who had slain many talents of their clan. How dare this kid shamelessly try to be friendly. It was infuriating.
"Hey, watch your manners. We’re both high-level experts; we should be magnanimous. You need to be tolerant of others," Little Dot said, standing on the big stone, tiptoeing, and patting the elder's shoulder again.
The elder's nose almost twisted with anger. If this weren’t a place of peace, he would have slapped this kid into a thousand pieces.
"You brat, are you provoking us? Don’t think we’re afraid to take action," the others couldn’t stand it anymore, their teeth grinding with rage.
"Brothers, you’re wrong here. True rivals should respect each other and be understanding. We can fight to the death, but when we sit down, we can still share drinks and discuss world affairs," Little Dot shook his head, expressing his disappointment.
"You little bastard, who wants to be understanding with you? If it weren’t for this place, you wouldn’t even be worthy to be our opponent. I could crush you with a single finger," one elder with a fiery temper immediately stood up.
"Brother, your anger is too strong. I dare say there’s a problem with the liver rune in your five organs, your temper is too intense, which could affect your future fortunes," Little Dot moved closer, stood on a big green stone, and put his arm around the elder’s neck.
"Get lost!" The elder was extremely annoyed. This damn kid, so small, dared to call him brother. The most infuriating part was that not long ago, this kid had killed some of his descendants.
The elders were all enraged. If they could use force, they would have pounced on him and skinned him alive.
In the end, Little Dot shook his head, patted their shoulders, and then patted his own butt before turning to leave.
"This damned kid," the elders nearly exploded with rage.
Nearby, a large, powerful, black-furred ape roared with laughter and then looked at Little Dot with disdain, exuding a murderous aura.
It was the ancient species they had encountered at the foot of the mountain. Little Dot glanced at it and said, "What are you staring at, big gorilla? Don’t try to be friendly with me. I don’t know you and I won’t have any fondness for you, especially since you’re a humanoid that can’t be thrown into a pot."
The gorilla was furious, beating its chest. It wanted to roar at the sky but hurriedly covered its mouth at the last moment, swallowing most of its suppressed anger, making a leaking sound.
"Gorilla, why are you grinning? Do you find my words amusing?" Little Dot glared at it.
The gorilla turned and ran, trembling all over, holding its mouth tightly and not daring to let go, white smoke pouring from its nose.
"Gorilla, why are you running? If you have something happy to share, let us enjoy it together. It’s better to share joy than to be selfish."
The gorilla couldn’t hold it in any longer, even its ears started emitting white smoke. It stretched out its long legs, finally escaping the stone forest. Leaping from the peak, it finally let go of its hand and roared at the sky, "Yellow-skinned monkey, don’t let me catch you, or I’ll tear you apart!"
It landed on a boulder dozens of feet below, beating its chest with a thunderous sound, shaking the earth with its roar, and going berserk.
"Monkey brothers, Giant Ape brothers, be aware that the gorilla down there said it would tear you apart and devour you," Little Dot kindly reminded.
The monkeys were speechless and rolled their eyes in unison.
Little Dot wandered around, searching for his treasure. When he came to a broken rock, he suddenly shivered as he heard a creepy voice again.
"My sword, my sword."
He raised his hand to reveal the Suan Ni Treasure Mirror, looking into it. A string of black characters appeared on its forehead, with wisps of black mist swirling around his ears.
"Ghost King, you keep calling out. Can you give specific directions? Otherwise, how can I find it?" Little Dot complained.
At this moment, the broken rock, only about two feet long, began to emit black smoke, cracked, and made a crunching noise before finally splitting open.
"Ah, I found it!" Little Dot exclaimed with joy.
At this cry, everyone turned to look, astonished. Someone else had found a treasure, and they were envious.
However, when people saw the broken rock, they were stunned. There was no auspicious light, just a cloud of black smoke, like dry cow dung being burned.
Little Dot’s forehead also broke out in black lines. There were no signs of anything unusual, just dense smoke like burning wet firewood in a cave. It looked so unsightly.
Eventually, the black smoke dispersed, revealing a piece of broken iron, as ugly as could be, rusted and corroded almost to the point of decay.
Upon closer inspection, it was a sword. The decorations on the hilt had rotted away, leaving only the sword’s bone, barely usable.
"This sword really has character."
"Haha."
People pointed and some couldn’t help but make fun of it.
Little Dot’s face darkened. He also found the sword too shabby. Could it still be used?
The cracking sound continued. Since he hadn’t moved for a long time, the split rock was about to close up again, trying to wrap the sword back up.
Little Dot wrinkled his nose, quickly crouched down, and gripped the sword’s hilt with all his strength. However, it didn’t budge at all, surprising him.
At this moment, a terrifying killing intent swept over him, entering his body. In an instant, he saw a scene of mountains of corpses and seas of blood, with blood flowing over the earth. All living beings were destroyed.
This aura was too terrifying, enough to crush a prodigy. Even Little Dot’s powerful body trembled, his blood surging. He had to forcibly swallow it down.
Others couldn’t perceive anything, but Little Dot already knew. This sword was extraordinarily powerful, definitely not an ordinary item. It was surely a great weapon among the relics of the saints.
The killing intent continued to invade. Little Dot fought with all his might to resist and managed to hold his ground, his heart filled with horror.
At that moment, he understood why previous people had failed. If someone else were in his place, their body would surely have been crushed to pieces.
Just then, he noticed that the small ornament, a little tower about the size of a finger joint, was shimmering with a faint light. Instantly, all the killing intent receded like a tide.
No one noticed the anomaly with the little tower.
Little Dot let out a sigh of relief, silently adjusted his breathing, and recovered. He then slowly drew the sword with a crisp clink as the ancient sword came free from the rotten rock and appeared in his hand.
"Plop."
Many people immediately laughed. The sword was so dilapidated that it was barely recognizable as a sword. It was covered in rust, only about a foot long, with more than half of it broken off and lost.
Even the remaining part was broken and reassembled later, with obvious marks. Moreover, the sword body was pitted and nearly falling apart.
A group of people shook their heads. It was quite remarkable for an ancient artifact to survive, and many were already damaged. It was quite normal. This kid was just unlucky to find such a severely damaged item.
"This broken sword is too terrible. Just take it back and reforge it," someone said with a smirk.
"It suits you," even the giant ape couldn't help but sneer, showing its white fangs and laughing continuously.
"Keep it well, consider it a treasured relic of the clan," one of the sealers, stroking his beard and smiling, said, feeling completely reassured. Earlier, when Little Dot found the treasure, they had been quite nervous, as ancient artifacts could sometimes turn out to be extraordinary treasures.
"Although it's almost ruined, it's still an ancient artifact. Take it back and keep it well; maybe one day it will show its power," another younger sealer teased.
"Haha," everyone laughed, shaking their heads.
Little Dot's face darkened. He said nothing because only he knew the sword was definitely extraordinary. Not only was the killing intent awe-inspiring and unprecedented, but the sword's weight was also frightening. It looked nearly rotten, but in his hand, it weighed several tens of thousands of pounds, even though it was broken.
It was only because of Little Dot’s terrifying physical strength that he could handle it like a piece of straw. He turned it over and examined it.
The ancient sword was blunt, and the places without rust were black with some blurred patterns. The sword body was icy cold.
"Your vision is really poor. You can’t even recognize such an unparalleled divine sword and still dare to mock it. Sigh," Little Dot shook his head, then casually strapped the sword to his back.
The more he acted this way and coupled it with such nonchalance, the more it made people believe that the sword was just a piece of junk, causing a burst of laughter.
"When the rock cracked earlier and the black mist emerged, that was the Black Sha of the ancient battlefield. Even the most powerful treasure would slowly decay if it was tainted by it. This sword has been accompanied by Black Sha since ancient times. If it still has spirit, that would be truly against the heavens," the White Tiger appeared, cold and indifferent, with a hint of mockery in its eyes, clearly taking pleasure in the situation.
"You don’t understand," Little Dot said as if hiding something. He touched the rusty sword on his back and declared grandly, "Since it has reemerged into the world, its fame will soon spread across the land again."
A group of people sneered. The giant ape, sealers, and White Tiger all focused on Little Dot. He hadn't obtained a sufficiently astonishing treasure, and it was the perfect opportunity to eliminate him.
Another group of people entered the stone forest, led by a young girl with black hair, a fair and full forehead, a slightly pointed chin, and bright, beautiful eyes. She was very attractive and had a certain spiritual aura.
It was Princess Huo Ling’er of the Fire Nation. Although she was only fifteen or sixteen years old, her figure was graceful and her curves nearly perfect. Her eyes sparkled as she walked, with a snow-white neck, full chest, a slim waist, and long, straight legs that gave her an elegant appearance.
Her skin was as white as sheep-fat jade, glowing with a radiance. In her arms, she held a gray, fluffy little wolf with bright eyes and a pair of small wings, looking very cute.
Behind Princess Huo Ling’er were several cloaked individuals, clearly sealers, who had entered the divine cavern and brought out the descendants of the gods, now fully healed from their injuries.
In addition, five talented individuals from the Supplementing Heaven Pavilion also followed, having not perished.
Everyone turned to look. The arrival of such a large group clearly indicated they were not ordinary people but rather extremely powerful.
"Isn’t that the Fire Nation’s princess, the daughter of the Human Emperor?" someone exclaimed in surprise.
Upon hearing this, both human powerhouses and talents from other races took a sharp breath. The Human Emperor was renowned throughout the world, his achievements unparalleled. Many powerful races dared not provoke him and chose to avoid him.
Little Dot, carrying the broken sword, swaggered over and directly approached Huo Ling’er. He said, "Junior sister, don’t be afraid here. With your senior brother protecting you, no one will dare to have any designs on you."
Princess Huo Ling’er’s dark, gemstone-like eyes widened, and she scolded, "I don’t need your protection." No matter how one looked at it, this kid was merely leveraging the situation and speaking so presumptuously, which made her extremely angry.
Moreover, she was older than Little Dot and should technically be his senior sister. Yet she was always called junior sister, which had long displeased her.
Little Dot pinched the little wolf, which immediately jumped into his arms and rubbed against him, carrying Huo Ling’er’s unique fragrance, showing intimacy.
Princess Huo Ling’er’s eyebrows twitched with anger, and she said, "Unreliable white-eyed wolf." Along the way, the little wolf had eaten all the good things, but upon seeing Little Dot, it immediately defected.
Little Dot laughed happily and then addressed the crowd, "I didn’t lie. This is my junior sister. With me protecting her, none of you are allowed to have any ill intentions, or I’ll be very unfriendly."
Next, continue working on Chapter Three.
