Little Dot comfortably sat on a piece of blue stone, resting his chin on his hand and watching as several beings approached the Fountain of Youth. He was not at all anxious, calmly waiting to see what they would gain.
Ahead in the medicinal field, several ancient creatures were diligently collecting herbs, each time they picked one, they would vomit several mouthfuls of blood and suffer severe injuries.
"Are you all tired? Even with all the blood you're spitting, you're still collecting herbs. Aren't you afraid of perishing?" Little Dot asked curiously, blinking at them.
The creatures showed expressions more painful than tears. It wasn’t that they wanted to be this way; they were forced by the divine servant to collect more than ten herbs each to earn their freedom.
Little Dot seemed to understand their thoughts and said, "Don’t be afraid. I’ve dealt with that golden monster. You can leave now."
One of the ancient creatures hesitated and finally whispered, "Its master is a pure-blooded divine beast. We have already promised to gather ten herbs each. If we flee now and get caught, it will be a great disaster."
"You’re talking about her? Don’t worry. Her things are mine now. Just hand over the herbs you’ve collected, and I’ll ensure your safety," Little Dot waved his hand dismissively, looking as if it were a trivial matter.
By the Fountain of Youth, the terrifying beings were gradually approaching the pool, all deeply focused. The immense pressure from the environment caused their bodies excruciating pain, as if they were about to tear apart.
The purple-haired girl, facing away from the back, shivered slightly. The human boy behind her was making decisions on his own, dividing her herbs, which infuriated her. However, she had come this far, almost reaching the Fountain of Youth. If she gave up and retreated now, it would be all for nothing.
"Human, you’ve managed to anger me," the purple-haired girl’s voice was cold as a mountain spring, though melodious, it carried a murderous intent.
Little Dot rummaged around and eventually picked up a giant stone weighing hundreds of pounds. He threw it forward, aiming directly at the girl’s back, with lightning speed.
"Boom!"
However, as soon as the giant stone entered the air, it was shattered by a powerful force, turning into dust instantly without causing any harm.
Although this action did not hurt the girl, it made her purple hair flutter wildly, almost making her turn around. No one had ever dared to treat her so disrespectfully.
"Not very sturdy," Little Dot shook his head and then weighed the stubborn stone in his hand. "Maybe you should give it a try. I think it might be able to knock an enemy away."
"Don’t! I’ll be shattered if I go in," the stubborn stone cried out, its voice louder than a pig being slaughtered. It struggled desperately.
Little Dot pondered for a moment and decided not to act. He was mainly concerned about disturbing the girl while she was gathering water. He was still hoping to raid her later.
The golden pool of the Fountain of Youth shimmered, casting its brilliance over the area. The powerful beings painstakingly moved inch by inch, slowly approaching.
The atmosphere here was tense and grew heavier, as everyone knew that the moment to seize the divine spring was approaching.
"You few idiots, hurry up and leave," Little Dot sneered and stopped paying attention to the ancient creatures. Instead, he squatted down eagerly to watch the golden beast.
"You come from the Ancient Divine Mountain?" he asked curiously.
"Yes. Human, you are unaware of your own insignificance. Even daring to insult me will provoke the heavens. If you let me go and sincerely apologize, I might be able to forgive you," the golden beast said nervously.
"Why would I want your forgiveness?" Little Dot, holding the stubborn stone, slapped it down with a thud, causing the golden beast to see stars and experience dizziness.
"What do you want?" the golden beast roared angrily.
"Robbing you. Hand over everything you brought from the Ancient Divine Mountain," Little Dot said cheerfully. The items from the domain of ancient divine birds and beasts were bound to be extraordinary.
"Nothing. Just a life," the golden beast was straightforward.
"Do you really think I wouldn’t dare to handle you?" Little Dot glared, searching the beast’s body himself but finding nothing.
"Tell me where the treasures are. I know you must have placed them in a developed realm."
Little Dot was delighted. Treasures could be stored in the realm and nourished. The golden beast didn’t lack good treasures; it was just that the items were so good they didn’t need to be kept outside.
He then scratched his head. Treasures couldn’t be used here, and the runes couldn’t be displayed, so he couldn’t open the realm unless he killed the golden beast directly.
"This horn of yours is nice, golden and dazzling. It could be used to pass off as a dragon horn," Little Dot’s eyes sparkled as he forcefully twisted the golden horn.
"Yes, this is a treasure. The divine servant’s horn is magical; ground into powder, it can be used as a rare medicinal ingredient," the stubborn stone also spoke up.
"I want to cook some chicken and mushrooms and need such an ingredient," Little Dot grabbed the stubborn stone and smashed it onto the golden beast’s head.
"Ah!"
Naturally, two cries of agony rang out simultaneously, as if entering a slaughterhouse. The sound of the stone actually drowned out the divine servant’s roar, causing the golden beast not only to suffer pain but also to be enraged.
"Crack."
The two horns were smashed off, shining with golden light and falling onto the blue stone, making a clanging sound, like metallic vibrations.
"What a treasure," Little Dot was pleased, feeling a strong spiritual energy.
"I’ll fight you to the end," the golden beast roared. It was the unluckiest day of its life, encountering such a perverted boy. Was this really a human?
Even the ancient creatures collecting herbs were murmuring, thinking that this must be a pure-blooded beast, just transformed into human form.
"Stop talking about fighting. I hate fighting and killing," Little Dot slapped a stone board onto the golden beast’s face, knocking it out to avoid hearing its noise.
"If it weren’t for wanting to subdue your master and send you to guard the village, I would have already skinned you and left you for Da Hong and the others to cook," Little Dot muttered to himself.
"Everyone, did you see? This human boy is targeting us. If we manage to obtain the Fountain of Youth, he will definitely ambush us. If we continue deeper, our bodies will be injured, and he might end up gaining some advantage," the purple-haired girl spoke, her voice as melodious as celestial music, her back graceful and elegant, her purple clothes fluttering as if a celestial being ready to ascend.
"Hey, you can’t frame me," Shi Hao shouted.
"Let’s get rid of him first, clear the field, and then we can compete fairly," another being suggested.
Everyone agreed, feeling that the human boy was too strong. Allowing him to recover outside might indeed pose a threat.
"Sigh. Bullying people. Fine, I’ll compete with you fairly. I actually wanted to see how strong this realm is," Little Dot sighed.
He knew these beings wouldn’t easily come out. After all, they had already gone deep for a long time. Retreating now would mean all efforts were in vain.
This was just to force him. If he continued to wait for an opportunity, planning to take advantage of the situation, these beings would eventually unite and deal with him first.
Little Dot, carrying a beast skin bag, walked inside.
Indeed, these beings fell silent. As long as they were not directly threatened, they would remain indifferent.
Little Dot joined in, surveying his surroundings. He kept a certain distance from each being to avoid conflicts at the initial stage and proceeded step by step.
The realm here was indeed very strong. No wonder the beings moved so slowly, only covering a small distance in half a day. It felt as if several mountains were pressing down on them.
The ground was sticky. Little Dot looked down and saw a lot of broken bones and blood clots under the golden light. This alerted him to the fact that some powerful beings had already been shattered here.
Little Dot’s bones creaked under immense pressure, but he kept his footing steady and continued to move forward. Along the way, he had already discovered eight corpses, all recently shattered.
"What a terrifying realm."
Finally, he stepped into an even more horrifying area, his body swaying as he walked more slowly and could only advance slowly.
At this point, it was clear that even the surviving beings, though not pure-blooded divine birds or fierce beasts, possessed combat power that was on par with them and should be treated with utmost caution.
The deeper he went, the more intense the golden light became, as if facing a sun transformed from an ancient golden crow, dazzling enough to make one squint. The distance between the beings became shorter, but it was increasingly difficult to discern their true forms.
The area was vast and covered in golden waves, enveloping the place. Everyone seemed to be wrapped in a golden flame, blazing and dazzling.
Time passed gradually. After a day and night, Little Dot was close to the golden pool, alongside those beings.
The pool was filled with golden symbols, emitting terrifying fluctuations, like a vast golden ocean in turmoil, with a tremendous aura pressing down on them.
"Poof."
One of the individuals had a blood streak appear on his forehead, and his body began to crack more, making cracking noises, with bones breaking. He said nothing and quickly retreated, clearly unable to withstand it.
However, a figure nearby moved even faster. It was a divine bird with sharp eyes, suddenly erupting into action and attacking directly.
With a "crack," it reached out with one claw, grabbing the person’s arm and restraining him, bringing him back.
"Ah!" The person screamed, blood pouring from his body under the pressure of the realm. His bones broke, and he was in excruciating pain, eventually being torn apart.
"Poof."
The divine bird's claw snatched the person's heart and then swallowed it, replenishing its vitality.
"To evolve to this stage is rare indeed. Bloodline is not the only standard of strength," the divine bird whispered.
Little Dot was struck by the cruelty of this place. Such a powerful being had perished so easily, and its heart had been consumed.
Half a day later, several beings struggled to step forward and finally approached the Fountain of Youth. No one dared to act rashly.
The pool, about ten feet square, was shrouded in mist, making the liquid inside unclear. One could only feel a powerful life force emanating from it, making one feel as though they were about to transform into an immortal.
Little Dot stayed behind, not moving to the front. He feared that these beings might unite and target him together.
Someone kicked a stone into the Fountain of Youth, and there was no sound of water. Instead, a golden wave surged up like a storm, startling every being.
They assessed the strength of the realm and thought they could take some water from the fountain.
"Clang!"
Suddenly, a sharp sword light flew in. Someone struck out, aiming at those beside him. This was not only to obtain the divine spring but also to take advantage of the opportunity to hunt a pure-blooded being for its flesh and medicinal value.
"Bang!"
Someone attacked Little Dot with a black claw, much harder than iron or stone. When it collided with him, it made a deafening clang.
By the Fountain of Youth, chaos erupted as the strongest beings engaged in a fierce battle.
"Welcome, pure-blooded fierce beasts and divine birds. I will subdue you," Little Dot shouted.
