Chapter 151: Clearing Away

Chapter 151: Clearing Away

With a loud "bang," a golden wing crashed to the ground, shattering rocks and creating a deep crater. This was a half-blooded Roc wing, harder than iron and stone, imbued with boundless divine essence.

"Ah!"

The Golden-Winged Roc cried out in agony. It had been defeated, and so badly. It fell to the earth, with faint golden blood splattering everywhere, creating a deep pit with cracks spreading out for dozens or even hundreds of meters.

"Quickly, stop the bleeding! Don't waste it!" The Great Red Bird cried out in distress as it rushed forward, knowing that the blood was a precious medicinal substance.

The little one showed no mercy. Standing on the crystalline Suanni treasure mirror, it dove down, holding a broken sword and slashing downward. In such a life-and-death battle, there was no room for leniency.

"No!" The Roc roared in fury, its golden eyes wide open.

The little one remained indifferent, the sword aura in its hand sweeping like a rainbow.

The Roc's body was aglow with golden light, its feathers dazzling. Its forehead cracked, and there were explosive sounds from within, as if its bones were self-destructing.

The little one sighed with regret. It had almost brushed past the ultimate treasure technique of the Roc clan, leaving him helpless but resigned.

"Poof!"

The sword aura cut through the air, and a massive golden head flew off at an angle, dripping with blood and crashing to the ground.

Without needing a closer look, it was clear that the Roc's vital bones had been shattered.

The half-blooded divine bird was defeated, leaving the ancient beings feeling disbelief. Such a powerful Golden-Winged Roc had been unable to withstand a human boy.

Flee!

More than a dozen ancient beings turned to flee, scattering in all directions, splitting up to escape. The boy was too fierce and overwhelming.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye. The little one reacted swiftly, and after dealing with the Golden Roc, it exerted all its effort to wield the broken sword and slashed at the area.

The broken sword unleashed its power, with sword light spreading like the sea, surging and tearing the land apart. Rocks flew and dust rose into the sky.

The strength of this sword strike was overwhelming. The fleeing ancient beings were immediately struck. Two were directly cut down, while the others stumbled but managed to avoid being hit and fled rapidly.

"Chase them! Don't let a single one escape!" The little one shouted. If word of today's events got out, it could lead to major trouble. After all, the White Tiger and the Golden Roc were formidable entities.

The Nine Lions understood the gravity of the situation. With a roar, they pursued in one direction, dragging their wounded bodies. The Great Red Bird, the Purple Weasel, the two brothers from the Three-Eyed Tribe, and the Fire Raven also understood and joined the pursuit.

They didn’t aim to kill the enemies but to hold them off for the little one until he could come to their aid.

The little one, consumed by rage, soon caught up with one of the ancient beings. With a powerful blow from the broken sword, it was cleaved in two, and then the little one quickly rushed to support others.

At this moment, roars, cries of fierce birds, and the sounds of intense battle echoed across the bloodstained land. The clash was fierce, with world-shaking techniques and divine light swirling through the air.

This battle was even more intense than before, with one side trying to escape and the other desperately blocking them. It was an incredibly bloody and life-or-death struggle.

Thirteen ancient beings were dealt with: four by the little one and five by the Nine Lions and their allies. However, four still escaped to the distance.

Among them, three were birds, already soaring into the clouds. It would be very difficult to catch them now.

"They must not escape!" The Great Red Bird’s eyes turned red with fury. It abandoned one beast and soared into the sky to chase a fierce bird.

Though it was injured, it was still a strong force and moved very quickly, penetrating the clouds to hunt down the ancient being, aiming to prevent any news from leaking and causing trouble.

The Nine Lions and others had been heavily wounded; the Five-Colored Phoenix was almost torn apart, and the Fire Raven was nearly scorched. They managed to barely restrain the opponents, but were unable to kill them.

The little one also pursued a fierce bird, one foot on the golden bone scissors and the other on the Suanni treasure mirror. The two treasures’ radiance intertwined, instantly multiplying his speed several times. At any cost, he burned his essence and spirit to chase rapidly.

This speed could be maintained for a short while but could not last long without exhausting his blood and life force. He seized the moment, piercing through the clouds, and finally saw the ancient being, raising the broken sword to strike.

The fierce bird roared in anger, its feathers burning, and it desperately tried to speed up, using a treasure to block the attack and fight for a slim chance of survival. If it could escape and report back to the Roc's ancestors, it could bring great disaster to the human boy and ensure his death.

Unfortunately, the broken sword unleashed its power, and it had no chance. The vast sword wave swept in, not cutting but directly pressing down, causing a tremendous explosion. The fierce bird was shattered into pieces.

"Aw!"

In another direction, the Great Red Bird let out a long howl, surrounded by flames. The treasure cauldron made from bird egg shells emitted rays of light and auspicious aura, clashing with a fierce bird.

Their battle was even more intense, with blood raining down. When the little one arrived, the Great Red Bird was falling to the ground, crying out in pain, "It hurts so much! I’m going to eat ten fierce beasts later!"

Its opponent was killed and fell to the earth, while the Great Red Bird itself almost died, fluttering its wings as it descended.

"Poof."

The little one finished off the remaining ancient beings that the Nine Lions and others had restrained. The kills were decisive and ruthless, with no hint of amusement.

"Unfortunately, two still got away," they said, their expressions grave.

Even with the ground littered with ancient beings and precious medicinal substances, they could not find any joy. The White Tiger and the Golden Roc were significant, and if word got out, it would be problematic.

Suddenly, a bird cry sounded, and blood rain fell from the sky.

"Eh, why did that silly bird come back?" The little one was surprised.

The Great Red Bird, the Five-Colored Phoenix, and the Fire Raven were all angered by the remark. As birds themselves, they disliked such terms.

The little one, stepping on the golden bone scissors, immediately charged forward, swinging the broken sword to slice the ancient being that had an expression of resentment but was also terrified.

In the distance, a few figures appeared. Fire Ling'er held a young deity, and several cloaked figures were scattered around. They had forced the ancient bird descendants to retreat.

"Thank you, Junior Sister," the little one landed on the ground, blinking and clasping his fists.

"Did you kill all these ancient beings?" When the group approached, Fire Ling'er was speechless, her beautiful eyes filled with disbelief.

She and the other sealers had been around for a while but had not approached, remaining at a distance. Due to the fog between the ruins, the scene wasn’t very clear.

"Am I that fierce? I rarely kill," the little one refuted, looking at the Nine Lions, the Great Red Bird, and others, and said, "See these ferocious creatures? They’re all covered in blood. It was them who did the killing."

The Nine Lions, Fire Raven, and Three-Eyed Tribe experts all rolled their eyes and snorted in unison. Who was fierce? It was almost entirely the little one’s doing.

Seeing their reactions, Fire Ling'er understood immediately, her shock and awe deepening, especially after witnessing the White Tiger and Golden Roc. It was incredibly impressive to have killed the Golden-Winged Roc.

One of the cloaked figures stepped forward, dipped a bit of faint golden blood, and observed closely. He exclaimed, "This is at least a half-blooded divine bird, with limitless potential. It's hard to find a match."

Fire Ling'er, around fifteen or sixteen years old, had a delicate face, fair and glossy. Her oval face and arching eyebrows, with her large, expressive eyes, now held a look of profound amazement, gazing at the

The little one gave a shy smile, scratched his head, and said, "Even though I’m quite heroic, you shouldn’t look at me like that. Actually, if you just stick to losing weight, even if you can't match me, you won’t be far behind."

He glanced around with his big eyes, obviously looking at places he shouldn’t.

The Fire Nation princess, who had originally been shocked and greatly admired him, went into a frenzy upon hearing these words. She scolded, "Go to hell, go to hell, you little rascal!"

Nearby, a few cloaked figures were silent, waves of emotions stirring within them. This young man was too formidable, having slain so many ancient beings, including a half-blooded Roc. It was truly astonishing and soul-shaking.

"He's still so young, with great potential. His future is limitless."

"He's probably not worse than the Human Emperor when he was young; it’s truly terrifying."

These were the conclusions quickly drawn by the group, their hearts unsettled, looking at the fierce child with peculiar expressions.

"Alas, we still let one fierce beast escape. This is going to be a big trouble," the little one said, frowning in distress.

"Now you’re scared? Why didn’t you think about it more when you were causing trouble?" Fire Ling'er said with a hint of glee, her graceful figure and curvaceous form making her appear more alluring.

"They wanted to eat the Great Red Bird and my little brother. Of course, I had to fight desperately, even if it meant causing a huge disaster. I couldn’t back down," the little one said firmly.

The Nine Lions were deeply moved, almost roaring in response.

In the background, the Fire Raven, the Three-Eyed Tribe experts, and others had strange expressions, their gratitude evident. After all, if the little one hadn't intervened, they would have been dead.

Only the Great Red Bird snorted. It knew the little rascal too well. Even if they hadn’t faced a disaster, given the fierce child’s nature, he would have eaten the White Tiger and others.

"Silly bird, what kind of look is that? Why are you rolling your eyes?" The little one grabbed its black cauldron and banged it on the bird’s head.

"I’ll fight you!" The Great Red Bird jumped up, rubbing the large bump on the back of its head.

"Keep making noise and I’ll eat you," the little one said, revealing his shiny, white little tiger teeth.

The Great Red Bird instantly wilted. There was nothing it could do; the child was too ruthless. The Nine Lions, Five-Colored Phoenix, and it had all been consumed by him.

"Junior Sister, your father is the Human Emperor, with achievements that rival the creation of the world. His cultivation is enough to stand proud on this earth. He should have few rivals, right?" the little one asked.

"Yes, and?" Fire Ling'er replied warily.

"If I could become sworn brothers with him, surely no one would dare to provoke us," the little one asked.

Fire Ling'er’s brows furrowed in anger. This rascal wanted to take advantage of her.

"Don’t misunderstand. He’s so old; how could I become sworn brothers with him?" The little one quickly waved his hands.

"How can you say that? What do you mean ‘so old’?" Fire Ling'er was enraged. This naughty child really had a way with words.

The little one innocently asked, "Don’t people always reminisce about their youth when they grow old? Doesn’t he want to find a friend who understands him across generations, like me, a hero unparalleled? There are probably not many like me in the whole world."

Fire Ling'er was both amused and exasperated. "You’ve caused trouble and now you want my father’s protection. You think too highly of yourself, wanting to be on equal terms with the Human Emperor."

"What’s wrong with that? Many female prodigies have adopted foster fathers who are over a hundred years old. How do you know that I can’t become a friend across generations with your father?"

"Get lost!"

Usually, Fire Ling'er was graceful and elegant, full of poise and spirit. But at this moment, she was very fierce, her eyebrows raised as if she were about to pounce.

"Woof woof."

At that moment, the little wolf in Fire Ling'er’s arms barked, its nose twitching as it pointed in a direction.

The little one slapped his forehead and said, "Forget about the Human Emperor and friends across generations. We don’t need that." He quickly grabbed the young deity and said, "Help me find that escaped beast."

The young deity, who had been watching silently, knew what was needed. Without a word, it extended a tiny paw and pointed in a direction.

The little one put away his smile, took up the broken sword, and chased after it at high speed. The Nine Lions and others, seeing this, also took on serious expressions and followed.

The group sped through the mountains and rivers, guided by the young deity’s nose. They finally stopped a hundred miles away. The little one swung his sword, shattering a stone mountain.

"Roar!" A fierce beast emerged, filled with fear and resentment, and ultimately could not escape this calamity.

In the end, all the ancient beings, including the Golden-Winged Roc and the White Tiger, were eradicated, with not a single one escaping.

"Now we can rest easy. The Fire Nation princess, the Nine Lions, and others were ambushed, and after a fierce battle, we’ve finally defeated the enemies," the little one said, clenching his fists and swinging them with force.

"I didn’t contribute. It was you who did the killing," Fire Ling'er clarified.

"Wasn’t it you who showed divine power and wiped them out?" the Nine Lions and others questioned.

"Let’s not talk about that. Now, with the delicious food piled up like a small mountain, I’m drooling just looking at it. Let’s eat first," the little one said enthusiastically.

The Fire Nation princess didn’t speak. Her nearby sealers whispered, "That’s a half-blooded Golden-Winged Roc, a rare medicinal treasure. We can’t miss this. Even if the news gets out to the Golden Roc’s clan later, it’s still worth it. It’s not a loss."

Fire Ling'er nodded. The value of a half-blooded divine bird was unimaginable. She couldn’t just watch as a group of greedy eaters wasted it. At the very least, she knew some ancient recipes that could maximize the effectiveness of the medicinal blood.

"This place is quiet. Let’s start cooking."

The group began their work, finding a clear spring, starting to peel and wash, preparing to cook the ancient beings, using the divine essence to nourish and strengthen themselves.
