Chapter 101: One Blow to the Ground

Chapter 101: One Blow to the Ground

This area was extremely desolate, with not a blade of grass in sight. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been able to accommodate such a massive black tiger. Little Point crept cautiously, approaching the entrance of the underground cave from the side.

The malevolent aura grew stronger, with strands of black mist drifting out from the pitch-black tiger’s lair. It was clear how fearsome this beast king was; as soon as he arrived here, an icy chill gripped him, and the malevolent energy assaulted his body.

"This is too dangerous. If it gets disturbed, I’m likely doomed," Little Point stopped.

Although the Black Malevolent Lotus was tempting, it wasn’t worth risking his life over. He dared not act recklessly and carefully observed, sensing with utmost caution. He held his breath and closed his pores, afraid of disturbing the beast king.

In the end, Little Point retreated, moving step by step backward until he quickly disappeared into the forest.

It wasn’t until he had traveled a considerable distance that he finally breathed a sigh of relief. Staying near that place was extremely nerve-wracking, giving him a suffocating feeling as if a giant black mountain pressed on his chest, nearly freezing his blood.

“There were inscriptions next to the Black Lotus, recording its age. Could it be that this beast king was subdued by the Heaven Repair Pavilion?” Little Point mused, quickly recalling recent events.

The ancient crocodile had gone berserk, chasing him through the mountains, frightening many wild beasts into a panic. As a result, it had attracted the black tiger, which swiftly intervened to stop the rampaging beast, seemingly maintaining order in the mountains.

“I hope my guess is correct.” Little Point’s eyes gleamed as he dashed toward the mountains, escaping from the area.

Moments later, he arrived near a waterfall. At a distance of over a hundred meters, he stopped, lifted a massive stone weighing thousands of pounds, and hurled it with great force.

Symbols swirled around the stone, making it glow. It arced through the air and crashed into the waterfall, shaking the mountain walls and creating towering white waves. At the same time, a thunderous roar erupted.

A massive water serpent emerged, its entire body a greyish-blue, as thick as a water barrel, with fierce scales and claws. It reared up, searching for the challenger.

“Bang!”

The serpent was met with another massive stone, even heavier, weighing tens of thousands of pounds, enveloped in symbols and speeding toward it. It struck the serpent’s head, dazzling with radiance and shattering into pieces. The serpent roared in fury.

It spotted Little Point and immediately leapt into the air, swiftly approaching. Opening its mouth, it expelled a burst of radiance that turned the surrounding forest into ashes, even drying up a nearby stream.

Little Point fled at full speed, using powerful kicks to propel himself into the air, soaring over a low hill.

His explosive power was extraordinary, as demonstrated when he shattered records in the Void God Realm. At this moment, his leap was astonishing.

The enraged serpent chased relentlessly, flattening a section of forest and arriving at the base of the low hill, causing many wild beasts to flee in terror.

Little Point wove through the dense forest, quickly reaching a marsh. He picked up a massive stone and hurled it at the muddy ground.

With a loud thud, mud and water splashed everywhere, and an ancient crocodile let out a wretched cry as it leapt up. The stone had struck its eye socket, nearly injuring its eyeball.

It opened its lantern-like bloodshot eyes and saw Little Point grinning at it, immediately infuriated. Just recently, this little thing had injured it, and now it dared to provoke it again.

Without further thought, the crocodile charged out of the marsh, its hundred-meter-long body crashing through the terrain like a flesh mountain, covered in formidable scales.

Its companion also couldn’t stand it, rushing from the other side to encircle and eliminate the detestable child.

Little Point fled, heading into the distance. Eventually, he leapt into the air, clearing a low hill and entering another territory.

Here, he encountered a three-legged dragon bird, a magical beast ruling the area. Other extraordinary beasts dared not disturb it. Despite having wings, this species could not fly, relying on its three legs for running, with a body length of over ten meters.

Although it wasn’t as massive as the ancient crocodile, it was fiercely aggressive and powerful. Its symbols could shatter a small mountain with a flash, making it the undisputed ruler of this forest.

Without hesitation, Little Point leapt onto the back of a small dragon bird, pounding it mercilessly until it cried out in pain.

The so-called small dragon bird was several meters long, with brightly colored feathers, but unable to fly. It flapped its three strong claws desperately, trying to throw Little Point off, but to no avail.

Nearby, the giant dragon bird turned, enraged, its bright feathers standing on end. How dare this tiny insect bully its only child? It charged with fury.

After delivering one final punch, Little Point made the young bird cry out in pain, then jumped off and sprinted away.

The giant dragon bird pursued him furiously, never before had any creature dared to challenge it, let alone a small “insect” bullying its offspring. This was utterly intolerable.

Thus, the entire mountain area descended into chaos, with the serpent, ancient crocodile, and three-legged dragon bird, among others, becoming enraged and hunting Little Point through the mountains.

Eventually, several of these beasts encountered each other, clashing and even engaging in fierce combat, causing the entire mountain range to become a tumultuous battleground, with various wild beasts fleeing in panic.

The talented individuals who entered the second battlefield were heart palpitating, sweating nervously. The danger here was extreme, with the rampaging beasts making the trial exceptionally difficult.

Each person was terrified, as the beast tide raged uncontrollably, impacting them heavily.

Little did these talents know, this danger was artificially created, not part of the original test. Every individual was scared, trying to avoid the beast tide as much as possible.

“Roar!”

Deep in the mountains, a tiger’s roar echoed. The beast king was extremely angry; it had just returned to its lair to rest and was disturbed again, becoming exceptionally irate.

A black whirlwind whipped up in the depths of the mountains, enveloping a massive black figure that charged out, howling at the sky.

“Indeed, it must have been subdued by the Heaven Repair Pavilion, tasked with guarding this mountain range and maintaining order,” Little Point’s eyes shone, and he smiled broadly.

He hid in the forest, concealing himself. Then, he dashed toward the tiger’s lair.

At this moment, the black tiger left its lair to personally quell the disturbance.

As they passed each other in parallel, Little Point seized the opportunity to sprint, his face flushed, his entire body covered in symbols, turning into a streak of light that sped away.

He reached the cave entrance at top speed, with black mist swirling around, creating an eerie silence and emptiness, with only the Black Malevolent Lotus emitting a faint dark light.

It was indeed a lotus, but it didn’t grow in water; it thrived on absorbing malevolent energy, entirely black and just over a foot tall, with a faint fragrance wafting.

Little Point’s fingers dug into the soil. He felt the malevolent energy attacking him. The soil was stained dark by the black tiger’s malevolence, which was terrifying.

“Bang!”

Debris flew as he dug out the Black Malevolent Lotus and immediately turned to escape, not pausing for a moment.

Despite his small stature, his explosive power was fearsome. With a few leaps, he cleared several low hills and sped away.

A short distance later, Little Point switched to moving through the dense forest, avoiding jumping, and fled into a desolate forest, escaping as far as possible.

During this process, he was quite reckless, tearing off the jade-like lotus leaves and shoving them into his mouth, swallowing them rapidly like a cow chewing peony.

In no time, he had consumed almost an entire precious herb, his body radiating dark light, and he felt as though he was about to burst into flames.

"I need to quickly refine the medicine. Even if it finds me, it will be hard to trace my tracks," Little Point thought.

Having traversed a million miles of desolate wilderness, he was well acquainted with these terrifying beast kings and didn’t dare leave even a trace. Otherwise, he would be hunted relentlessly, with no escape.

Eventually, Little Point applied the remaining drops of the medicine to the bodies of two giant wolves and then sped away.

As he ran, he circulated his bones, absorbing the endless spiritual essence within him, infusing it into every inch of his flesh. In an instant, his aura surged brightly, with symbols flashing and thunder roaring, making him look like a radiant celestial being.

Soon after, the beast tide subsided, and the black tiger returned to its lair. However, as it approached, it immediately sensed something was amiss. It howled furiously, and the mountains trembled in response.

Enraged, the tiger’s body was covered in black markings, forming a tornado that tore apart the nearby peaks, sending ancient trees soaring into the sky before they shattered.

This sight was terrifying. The beast king, in its fury, burst out of the mountains to chase the thief of the medicine. Its eyes turned into two blood-red moons in the sky, an incredibly horrifying sight.

The forest, which had just settled down, erupted once again. This time, the beast king led the charge, smashing a mountain with a swipe of its paw, sending rocks flying through the air.

“Heaven, if I had known this would happen, I would never have entered the second battlefield. Is this trial really meant for people like us?”

A group of geniuses were terrified, hiding away and trembling. This place was like hell, unbearable.

Little Point had already run far enough and then jumped into a large river, sinking to the bottom, isolating himself from the outside world and letting the current carry him downstream.

He closed his eyes and meditated deeply, preparing to harness the vital energy within him to breakthrough to a new realm.

In fact, he could have broken through long ago, but he had wanted to accumulate more spiritual essence to lay a more solid foundation. The lotus herb was exactly what he needed, with its powerful medicinal properties transforming into a black flame inside him, burning fiercely, refining his bones and flesh.

Finally, Little Point suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze shooting out two streams of black light, stretching several dozen meters. He stood up in the water, and beneath his feet, a "volcano" appeared, with a dazzling crater spewing lava that poured into his feet.

At this point, he had opened his sixth celestial realm, and his strength increased once again.

His entire body was now filled with surging energy, with the newly formed volcanic crater continuously spewing "lava" into his body, strengthening him further. Symbols intertwined, lightning flashed, resembling the creation of the world.

The entire night, Little Point remained still, comprehending the mysteries of the symbols and experiencing newfound power. Only in the morning did he open his eyes, and with a flash of light, the volcanic crater retracted and disappeared.

“Boom!”

Water splashed everywhere as Little Point emerged from the water, realizing he had been carried into a large lake.

As the sun rose, its warm light made Little Point feel refreshed. After breaking through to the sixth celestial realm, he felt exceptionally powerful, as if he had boundless strength.

Having traveled a million miles from Stone Village, it had taken almost a year. Now, at just nine and a half years old, he had reached this level, which was truly astonishing.

Following the river back, he found the journey wasn’t very long, as he had stopped when he was carried into the lake and hadn’t drifted away.

“Wow, this forest looks terrifying. Has there been a riot?”

The area was ravaged, with broken branches and fallen leaves everywhere, clearly having experienced a beast tide. Some peaks had even collapsed.

Fortunately, it wasn’t as severe as imagined. Although the black tiger had gone berserk, it hadn’t lost its rationality. It had rampaged briefly and then retreated, leaving only damage to the terrain.

“It’s getting late. I should go and get some more Heaven Repair Stones.” Little Point murmured to himself and returned to the forest.

He moved stealthily and soon came across some corpses, evidently killed by others. The Heaven Repair Stones were already missing, indicating the cruelty and danger of the second battlefield.

He soon encountered some disheartened youths, looking dejected. Their Heaven Repair Stones had been taken, and they were now empty-handed.

“Damn, that Xiao Tian is too strong. Where did he come from? Even when we teamed up, we couldn’t beat him.”

“Forget it. It’s a miracle we survived. Let’s hurry and find people to grab some Heaven Repair Stones, or we might not meet the minimum requirements and fail.”

The group Little Point encountered was a small alliance with strong cultivators, but they were now ragged, with traces of blood, having suffered a severe defeat.

“It seems there really are strong contenders. These people are not weak, yet even when they teamed up, they were no match for that person,” Little Point mused, then disappeared from sight.

In the forest, a young man in a silver robe was sneaking around. His name was Xiao Tian, and he was incredibly powerful. After a night of battles, he had collected sixteen Heaven Repair Stones.

Frowning, he muttered to himself, “Why hasn’t that guy shown up? I struck him from behind with a palm, and he leapt over a low hill using the momentum. It was quite impressive. By now, he should have collected many Heaven Repair Stones, but no one has mentioned him.”

As time passed, another two hours went by. The forest was filled with murderous intent, with sudden outbreaks of fierce battles.

“The young man from the Wood Tribe is so strong. Despite coming in so late, he has won seven consecutive battles.”

Some people were dejected. As losers, they were lucky to have survived, but still felt immense disappointment, talking in low voices.

Soon, a mountain exploded with brilliant light. Rocks shattered into the sky, giant trees were destroyed, and leaves withered in a terrifying atmosphere.

Moments later, the area quieted down. A young man covered in blood and badly injured fled in a sorry state. Shortly after, a silver-robed youth emerged, took a moment to adjust himself, and swallowed a precious pill. Instantly, he glowed and returned to peak condition.

“The Wood Tribe youth was defeated, and Xiao Tian won again. It’s terrifying. He’s definitely the top contender this time, standing out from over ninety thousand people. Truly a prodigy.”

In the distance, several defeated individuals were stunned, then sighed. They had been heavily injured and lost their ability to fight.

The silver-robed youth, Xiao Tian, moved alone through the forest, his keen senses scanning every inch of the land. He remained uneasy, wondering why that person had not yet appeared.

Among these talents, he could absolutely look down on everyone, but he was particularly wary of the youth who had attacked him with a palm but hadn’t achieved anything significant.

This was unusual. With that child’s strength, there should have been some sign of activity, at least having collected around twenty Heaven Repair Stones by now. However, he had not found any trace of him.

Xiao Tian frowned, vaguely sensing that something was off.

Suddenly, a strange noise came from above. Xiao Tian, alert, struck upward with a palm. The sky was instantly filled with symbols, and many massive tree crowns exploded.

Only a single feather drifted down, with no other enemy in sight.

However, at that moment, Xiao Tian suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, his hair standing on end. He sensed something was wrong and was about to react, but it was already too late.

Without any sound, the dead tree behind him裂开了. Little Point, wielding a white bone club like a hammer, struck him on the back of the head with a loud "thud."

Xiao Tian let out a loud cry, feeling dizzy, and symbols filled the sky as he desperately resisted, trying to prevent himself from losing consciousness and wanting to turn around to see who his attacker was.

But as soon as he turned his head, before he could even see who it was, a sheet of white descended upon him, and the bone club came down again, hitting him on the forehead.

"Thud."

Xiao Tian's eyes rolled back, and he was knocked out by the blow.
