Upon hearing this, Little Brat felt delighted. He had been agonizing over whether to eat the silver creature, and now he finally had a perfect solution.
“Do you have anything to exchange?”
“Wait a moment. We need to confirm if this is indeed a Spirit Race.” A mysterious figure, shrouded in a black cloak, walked out from the carriage. His voice was hoarse.
“This is a Spirit Race.” The disciples from the Patching Sky Pavilion changed expressions, looking at each other with astonishment. The Spirit Race, being an ancient remnant species, was extremely rare but powerful enough to make one tremble. The silver creature that Little Brat had slain must have carried royal blood.
“It truly is a Spirit Race. We are willing to trade,” said the cloaked figure straightforwardly, not concealing anything, and expressed a clear need for the creature.
The young geniuses around were all moved. It was said that this race's blood contained rare spiritual essence, which, if refined, could aid in enlightenment—truly mysterious and supernatural.
“Indeed, it is a Spirit Race.” The cloaked figure walked towards the carriage to report.
“Good. We’ll exchange it for the Purple Cloud Heart.” A clear, melodious voice responded, sounding like pearls dropping on a jade plate—very pleasing to the ears.
Around them, the more than forty young geniuses were moved, but a few standing by the carriage immediately opposed, thinking the trade was not worth it.
“The Purple Cloud Heart is rare, also an ancient remnant species, but its effects are even more potent for breakthroughs. Princess, think twice.”
“Spirit blood is scarce; even within ancient remnant species, there may not be many drops to refine, as it is not a bloodline inheritance but a concentration of spiritual essence.”
Many advised against it.
However, within the carriage surrounded by red mist, the royal princess had already made up her mind. To her, the spiritual blood that could aid in enlightenment was more precious than anything else.
The cloaked figure with the black mist approached, holding a jade cauldron about a foot square. Without further words, he presented it, eager to proceed with the exchange.
Little Brat carefully inspected it. After all, ancient remnant species were incredibly precious, and such exchanges could not be taken lightly. The three senior brothers and two senior sisters from the Patching Sky Pavilion also stepped forward to take a look.
The jade cauldron opened, revealing swirling purple qi. A pleasant fragrance wafted out, making one feel entirely comfortable.
Inside, there was an object the size of a human head, entirely purple, crystalline and dazzling like a beautiful purple diamond. It emitted a precious glow and released fragrant purple mist.
This was the Purple Cloud Heart. It came from a fierce ancient remnant species and was actually a heart. Yet, it resembled a huge purple gemstone, splendid and beautiful.
“Indeed a treasure medicine, rare in the world,” the young geniuses from the Patching Sky Pavilion marveled.
The geniuses’ eyes gleamed with a peculiar light. Not long ago, they had personally participated in the battle against the Purple Cloud Minks, expending a great deal of effort.
Although this fierce beast had the word "mink" in its name, it was classified as a bird due to its traits, such as spreading its wings and striking the sky, making it hard for many to defeat.
Just this one ancient remnant species had made these young geniuses struggle. If not for their numbers and the intervention of the Emperor’s youngest daughter, they would have suffered severe casualties.
In a sense, this Purple Cloud Mink was even stronger than the silver creature. Unfortunately, it encountered a group of powerful opponents, leading to its defeat.
“Very good,” Little Brat said, quite satisfied. The purple heart, as its name suggested, steamed with purple qi, surrounded by clouds, with no trace of blood but a pleasant aroma.
By the carriage, the young geniuses looked eagerly at the heart, reluctant to trade it. However, there was no choice; the fierce bird was slain mainly due to the actions of the young princess. Half of these people were brought by the Emperor for his daughter, while the other half were talents from the Fire Nation who admired the princess and followed her.
Once the Emperor’s daughter had spoken, they had no choice but to comply.
Little Brat put away the jade cauldron and looked towards the carriage, saying, “Princess Junior Sister, I am also from the Patching Sky Pavilion. Why don’t you come out and meet your senior brother?”
The group of geniuses were stunned. This child was quite bold. Even though they were from the same sect, few dared to speak directly to the Emperor’s daughter. Most were highly respectful and cautious.
Even the five young geniuses from the Patching Sky Pavilion felt uneasy. Although they cultivated in the same ancient land, they had never truly interacted with the princess, only seen her silhouette from afar.
The red mist flashed, and the curtain made of pearls and jade on the carriage was lifted. A girl, about fifteen or sixteen years old, stepped out. She had a full and fair forehead, an oval face, slender eyebrows, and large, crystalline eyes with a luminous, spiritual glow.
Her skin was snow-white. Though still a minor, she was tall, standing a head taller than her peers. Her steps were graceful, and her slim waist swayed like a snake, forming a beautifully curved silhouette.
Her figure was exceptional, with long, straight legs, swaying with an alluring grace, making even ten-year-old girls feel inferior.
“Little brat, what do you call me?” Fire Spirit’s lips curled slightly with a hint of mockery. “You’re so young, yet daring to take advantage.”
“I entered the sect before you, so I should be your senior brother. Besides, I’m not much younger than you. Junior Sister, now that you’ve met your senior brother, you should come over and pay your respects,” Little Brat said in a mature tone, raising his chin towards the extraordinarily beautiful girl.
Everyone was taken aback. This kid was remarkably audacious, even daring to take advantage of the princess. He truly feared nothing.
“Hmm?” The Emperor’s most beloved daughter, with eyes sparkling and a beautiful, delicate face showing a trace of surprise, stared at Little Brat, looking him up and down. “Could it really be you?”
Hearing the princess’s words, many young geniuses were stunned and then stared intently at Little Brat’s dirty face, trying to see clearly.
In the recent battle, Little Brat had indeed put in considerable effort, becoming covered in dust and blood, nearly obscuring his true appearance.
“Little rascal!” Suddenly, someone shouted, recognizing him.
Since entering this small world, Little Brat had restored his true appearance and was fearless. As a result, some recognized him upon close inspection.
“Oh my God. It’s really that little rascal. He has shown up!” A group of people exclaimed, their eyes ablaze, slowly closing in to capture him.
“You’re the little rascal! Your whole family is a bunch of little rascals,” Little Brat retorted, then blinked his big eyes, showing a defensive expression. “I warn you, don’t come near me, or I’ll eat all of you.”
In the Realm of Void Gods, many wanted to catch and beat the little rascal, and this sentiment had influenced these young geniuses. They rolled up their sleeves, ready to rush forward.
Even the Emperor’s most cherished daughter was eager to join in. Her eyes sparkled, fists clenched. Her graceful steps and slim waist were striking. Though still young, her curves were astonishingly close to perfect. Her face, full of excitement, showed a strong desire to act immediately and capture the boy.
“Junior Sister, don’t be so familiar with your senior brother. It’s not good for your reputation,” Little Brat said, stepping back. He did not want to be surrounded by the young geniuses.
“Let’s go together and capture him!” Suddenly, the Emperor’s daughter cried out, and dozens of young geniuses around moved in unison, charging forward.
“Wait and see. I’ll deal with you later,” Little Brat said, leaping up and fleeing. In a flash, he disappeared from sight, not wanting to be beaten by the crowd.
The most critical issue was that he wanted to break through. Holding the Purple Cloud Heart in his hand, he felt uneasy if he didn’t refine it quickly. Once he made the breakthrough, his strength would increase significantly.
“Chase him! Capture the little rascal alive!” A group of people shouted, relentlessly pursuing him. However, Little Brat’s speed was too fast; he plunged into the forest and vanished in the blink of an eye.
“Senior brothers and sisters, you should follow the princess. I’m leaving first,” Little Brat’s voice came from afar. He was already standing on a mountain ridge, leaving the pursuers stunned. His speed was truly astonishing.
A few days later, in an ancient cave, thunder and wind roared, purple qi billowed, and clouds of mist continuously overflowed from the cave entrance, with radiant light and auspicious colors surging.
“Roar!”
A deep, rumbling roar emerged as Little Brat made his breakthrough. The seventh cave in his body opened, and magma poured out from the volcanic crater, flowing into him.
With a thunderous crash, the rocky mountain split open, and a small figure wrapped in purple light emerged, exuding a terrifying aura. The surrounding ferocious beasts fled in panic, causing chaos in the forest.
After a long while, the purple light dissipated, and the auspicious qi vanished, revealing Little Brat’s true form. He was immensely pleased, having indeed made a breakthrough. It hadn’t been long since the last time, yet he had broken through barriers again and ascended to a new level.
While others might take a year or even several years to open a new cave, he had made successive breakthroughs in a short time. Such speed, if known, would surely be astonishing.
“Boom!”
He stomped his feet on the ground, causing the forest to collapse. He shot up into the sky like a roc, soaring over a mountain ridge ahead, resembling flight.
“Hmm, this guy hasn’t gone far. He chose to break through nearby,” a carriage was parked in a valley, with many people standing around. They heard the commotion and saw Little Brat.
Seeing him soar like a celestial being, everyone was shocked, their mouths agape in disbelief.
In the valley, besides the Fire Nation princess, there were several other extraordinary alien beings with powerful strength, seemingly negotiating with the local human race.
Little Brat, of course, saw the princess and the others. He didn’t avoid them, landing on the ground, creating a deep crater, and then walked towards the valley.
“You’re truly surprising, breaking through so quickly,” the three senior brothers and two senior sisters from the Patching Sky Pavilion greeted him.
“This human…” Suddenly, a humanoid creature with a single horn and a pair of wings on its back frowned, took out a scroll, compared it to Little Brat, and exclaimed, “It’s you! The Nine-headed Golden Lion King and others were vying to make you their battle pet, and you’re here!”
“Where is that freakish lion? Get him to come over here quickly!” Little Brat’s face darkened. He gritted his teeth and strode over.
“Such a temper! Don’t get angry. The Nine-headed Lion King is so powerful that having one more or less battle pet doesn’t matter much to them. Otherwise, why don’t you come serve my king as his servant?”
Bang!
Little Brat didn’t waste words. He struck out with a palm, and symbols filled the sky. A golden lightning surged out like a tidal wave, and with a crack, the humanoid creature with horns and wings was sent flying, turning into a pile of charcoal.
“You’re so bold, daring to kill one of the Feather King’s people!” The other aliens shouted angrily.
“I dislike the Feather King. It’s definitely humanoid, not my type. I want the Nine-headed Golden Lion and the fat relics,” Little Brat said, raising his hand again, ten fingers spread wide. Ten massive bolts of lightning struck across the sky, piercing through these aliens and turning them into ashes.
Around the carriage, the human geniuses were shocked. This little rascal was truly powerful, dispatching several aliens with a mere flick of his hand.
“Good,” the Fire Nation princess’s eyes sparkled with excitement. Although she, like many others, wanted to capture Little Brat and give him a good thrashing, she restrained her impulse and said, “You’re so powerful. How about joining us? I’ve already contacted the Nine-headed Golden Lion, Feather King, Silver-blooded Giants, and other top experts. We’re going to the Divine Abyss to seize a supreme treasure.”
“Is that freakish lion among them?” Little Brat’s eyes lit up.
“Yes,” the princess nodded, her long body swaying gracefully as she approached. Her curves were stunningly beautiful.
“Good. I’m going. I must stew it,” Little Brat clenched his fists.
“Don’t be so fierce. He’s our ally, and we’re going to the Divine Abyss together,” the princess’s eyes, like sparkling crystals, curved into a smile. She teased, “Be good, or I’ll spank you.”
With a crisp sound, Little Brat unceremoniously slapped her ample rear, blinking his big eyes. “Is this how it’s done?”
“You dare slap me?” The Fire Nation princess was stunned and then blushed furiously, revealing a mouthful of shiny teeth, biting her vibrant red lips. Her entire body flared with symbols, swirling in the air.
