Chapter 64: Cultivation

Chapter 64: Cultivation

“‘The Original True Solution,’” Little Dot exclaimed in astonishment. The name sounded extraordinary, and it had descended with a beam of light along with the Willow Deity, suggesting an awe-inspiring origin.

The fist-sized golden furball squeaked incessantly, scratching its ears and pouncing onto Little Dot's hand. It clung to the gleaming white bone like a golden koala, refusing to let go. Its message was clear: "This is mine, and no one else can have it."

“Please, Willow Deity, how should one cultivate the Original True Solution?” the Chief asked on Little Dot’s behalf, as it pertained to his future.

“To understand the Original True Solution, one must lay the most solid foundation. As a child, in the Blood Moving Realm, one must lift ten thousand pounds of divine iron with physical strength alone, and temper their spirit and will to be harder than iron. Only then can it be done,” the Willow Tree spoke, delivering words that made the old Chief's heart tremble.

This was incredibly difficult. How could a child achieve this? Even seasoned experts might struggle without the secret power of bone inscriptions. Few could match such physical strength.

“I will work hard to achieve it in the shortest time possible,” Little Dot said seriously, his eyes filled with determination.

From that day on, Shi Hao began his rigorous training, occasionally receiving guidance from the Willow Tree. He diligently tempered his body and strengthened his bones.

“Rumbling…”

The earth shook, and dust filled the air.

“My goodness, what is Little Dot doing? He’s carrying a Dragon-Horned Elephant out of the mountains!”

In the morning, a group of children stared in awe. At first glance, they thought a huge beast was charging toward Stone Village, but upon closer inspection, it was airborne and struggling.

Beneath the Dragon-Horned Elephant was a small figure carrying its massive body, running toward the village with its four legs up, causing the ground to quake with each step.

The Dragon-Horned Elephant was enormous, each weighing tens of thousands of pounds, covered in scales and sporting a pair of gigantic dragon horns, incredibly fierce.

Yet, at this moment, Little Dot had subdued one and was running back with it on his back. A group of exotic birds and beasts by the beautiful lake were stunned, looking up in disbelief.

The children practicing by the clear blue lake stopped their exercises, shocked and excited. This was no ordinary hunt; he had captured and brought back a Dragon-Horned Elephant alive, which was truly astounding.

With a loud thud, Little Dot dropped the Dragon-Horned Elephant at the village entrance. A group of strong men immediately pounced on it and dealt with the massive prey.

The golden furball jumped from Little Dot’s shoulder to the elephant’s head, squeaking nonstop, as if to declare that the catch belonged to it.

“Little Dot, your strength is incredible!” The children gathered around, chattering excitedly and expressing their admiration.

“Just practice diligently,” Little Dot said, scratching his head bashfully. After carrying such a heavy prey and running with it, he was slightly out of breath, his face flushed like a big apple.

“Good job, kid. Now you’re the top hunter in our village, haha!” The adults all laughed heartily, patting him on the shoulder.

The next day, the ground shook again as Little Dot returned, this time carrying another enormous Dragon-Horned Elephant, the weight causing the earth to tremble.

With another loud crash, he dropped it at the village entrance, causing chaos. Children practicing by the lake were once again astonished, and the adults swiftly took action.

On the third day, fourth day…

After half a month, when Little Dot returned with a Dragon-Horned Elephant, the children no longer paid much attention, and the adults remained calm, each focused on their tasks. Only the two uncles responsible for handling the prey acted quickly.

People had grown accustomed to it; after a month and a half of this, they had gone from initial shock to numbness, quickly adjusting.

“Little Dot, there’s too much meat. We can’t possibly eat it all, and eating Dragon-Horned Elephant every day is getting monotonous,” one child complained.

The two “calm uncles” who were handling the prey also looked up and said simply, “Indeed.”

The golden furball protested, only it wasn’t tired of the meat. Over the past half month, it had eaten nearly half a Dragon-Horned Elephant every day, its appetite almost frightening. Though it was only the size of a fist, its appetite was insatiable, as if it could devour a whole mountain of roasted meat.

“It’s alright. Give the leftover meat to the furball. Starting tomorrow, I’ll hunt a different beast. Constantly catching Dragon-Horned Elephants isn’t ideal; I might run out,” Little Dot said, scratching his head in embarrassment.

In the following two months, Little Dot caught a different giant beast every day, each weighing tens of thousands of pounds, astonishingly large.

During this time, the Chief personally prepared a special meat stew for him daily, such as dragon tendons and snake flesh, to strengthen his muscles and nourish his body, supplemented with various old medicines. His strength surged dramatically.

Near Stone Village, in the clear blue waters, there were many Dragon Beard Fish, rare creatures that also enhanced strength. The villagers almost daily fished for a few large, spiritually rich fish, with golden scales and shimmering whiskers, their blood so precious that even great clans considered it a luxury.

These naturally fell into the children’s stomachs, and their strength grew rapidly.

Especially Little Dot, with his extraordinary physique. The villagers had prepared a special diet for him, and his strength seemed to be increasing explosively. He had used up all the ancient recipes recorded in the village.

These ancient recipes were not ordinary. They had been incredibly glorious in ancient times and had even produced deities. The ancient recipes, accumulated over long ages, were far from ordinary.

Fortunately, the Willow Deity had found a treasure trove for them, not only solving the food shortage but also providing various spiritual creatures. The materials recorded in the ancient recipes were almost all traceable, making the stews and medicines prepared from them remarkably effective.

Three months later, Little Dot could lift fifty thousand pounds of weight, relying solely on his physical strength without using bone inscriptions, which was astonishing given he was only a little over six years old.

“Seventy miles away is a chaotic rocky waterfall area. You can go there to practice. Also, I have an ancient recipe for a foundation-building method used by ancient, divine beasts for their young,” the Willow Tree transmitted, sharing an ancient recipe with Little Dot.

Shi Hao was immediately stunned. The ancient recipe required such astonishingly rare medicines and creatures that even a super tribe of tens of millions might not be able to produce them.

Not to mention the rare medicines, even the essence blood and bone treasures of extinct species were difficult to obtain. These were considered essentials, which was overwhelming for Stone Village to provide.

Why were ancient fierce beasts so powerful even as cubs, far beyond the ordinary, almost mythical? It was inseparable from these elements.

“Willow Deity, we can’t find these things,” Little Dot whispered, lowering his head.

“It’s fine. Except for the main medicine, you can use ordinary substitutes,” the Willow Deity transmitted.

“And the main medicine?” Little Dot’s eyes widened as he understood the Willow Tree’s hint.

“Keep this furball. It can’t always eat for free. Let it give a drop of blood every other day as the main medicine,” the Willow Deity said.

“Ow!” The golden furball, the size of a fist, bristled with its fur, no longer squeaking but letting out a howl. Its large eyes widened in anger as it glared at the Willow Tree.

“Furball, I’ll take you to the Primordial Divine Mountain to eat precious medicines later. For now, you need to help me,” Little Dot said, shaking it vigorously.

“Eek eek!” The golden furball screamed in distress, clearly unwilling.

Dozens of miles away, stone peaks stood side by side, with violent waterfalls cascading down. Perhaps these were no longer mere waterfalls but torrents, their roaring sounds nearly deafening.

Three major rivers converged, rushing through the rocky mountains. Below was a deep valley, forming vast cliffs. The water surged violently, as if falling from the heavens, creating a series of waterfalls. Rocks continuously tumbled down.

Here, not only climbing against the current but even approaching was terrifying. The immense mountain torrents were frightening, with massive boulders crashing down, some weighing thousands or even tens of thousands of pounds. The power of these falling rocks, driven by the water, was incredibly overwhelming.

This was Little Dot's new training ground. He needed to climb the cliffs against the torrent and withstand the crashing boulders, which was evidently very dangerous.

“Boom!”

As soon as he entered the waterfall, he was thrown out by the white torrents. The waterfall plunged from hundreds or even thousands of meters high, with such force that it was extremely violent.

Little Dot wasn’t discouraged. He stood up, grabbing the rocks with hands like iron pincers, holding his breath, and began climbing upward, step by step, with great difficulty.

The white waves submerged him, and on the cliff face, only a protruding white wave point was visible. The water's force was too strong and immense, beyond the capacity of ordinary human strength.

“Thud!”

A boulder weighing over a thousand pounds fell, crashing down towards Little Dot. The speed and ferocity made one’s heart tremble.

Even though he was submerged by the white waves, he sensed it quickly and dodged to the side. Though he avoided the falling boulder, he stumbled and, with a thunderous crash, fell along with the water.

This was only the beginning. The final training involved enduring the vast torrents and the crashing boulders weighing tens of thousands of pounds, climbing up the cliff against the mountain flood. It was destined to be a grueling and terrifying ordeal.

At sunset, Little Dot, covered in wounds, returned to the village. Despite his strong physique, facing such a terrifying waterfall of rocks was challenging.

He was bruised all over, with blue and purple marks, which was heartbreaking to see. During his previous training, he had never been injured, and the villagers opposed him undertaking such dangerous trials.

They had been to the scene, and the terrifying sight was even more dangerous than fighting in a battlefield with thousands of soldiers. A boulder falling from such a height had a force far exceeding ten thousand pounds. If hit, it would surely turn him into mincemeat.

“It’s okay. I need to work hard and break through to the ultimate realm of the body that even the ancient divine beasts of the Heavenly Grade can achieve,” Little Dot said, his large eyes blinking with determination.

Under the ancestral black cauldron, flames blazed brightly, and the cauldron was boiling. Various old medicines, dragon tendons, snake flesh, golden centipedes, and Dragon Beard Fish had already dissolved, emitting a special fragrance.

“Only the main medicine is missing,” the old chief said, looking at the fist-sized golden furball.

The furball’s fur gleamed, and its large eyes spun around, ready to escape, but it was caught by Little Dot, who had been prepared. He said softly, “Furball, could you help me out?”

The golden furball let out a pitiful cry, struggling greatly. Finally, it used one tiny paw to cover its eyes and bit down on the pad of its other paw, drawing a drop of golden blood.

Everyone laughed. The furball’s reluctance and pitiful cries were like those of a chicken or duck being slaughtered. Reluctantly, it dripped a golden blood bead into the cauldron.

With a loud roar, the black cauldron’s walls glowed, and the contents boiled furiously, emitting a roaring sound. There were even sounds resembling divine hymns, along with grand sacrificial music that shocked the villagers into stunned silence.
