The fiery clouds burst forth as an elder summoned a string of bone beads, each as large as a goose egg, radiating a sparkling, precious light. They resembled a cluster of stars descending from the outer realms, their energy fluctuations intimidating.
These beads formed a constellation diagram, with patterns spreading out like a star river hanging down. The overwhelming aura immediately enveloped Shizi Ling below.
“Open up!”
Shizi Ling roared, his black hair dancing wildly. With a sweep of his long spear, golden light surged to the heavens, shaking the firmament. His eyes bled, tears of blood streaming down. The suffering of his child made his heart bleed; now, anyone who stood in his way would be killed.
The astonishing magical technique rumbled with incantations, as if the gods were chanting, showering endless divine light over the area. The constellation diagram in the sky exploded.
“Shatter!”
Shizi Ling roared again, lifting his spear. Primitive symbols surged forward, and golden light drowned the area ahead.
With a crackling sound, the white bone beads exploded one by one. The powerful force of the symbols dissipated, turning into a vast expanse of divine light that spread in all directions.
Palaces immediately flew up like falling leaves, insignificant under the raging force, and then shattered in the sky, turning to dust.
The string of bone beads, a rare and powerful treasure, was shattered by the war spear and transformed into divine essence, dispersing into the heavens and earth, causing much distress among the clan elders.
As a royal family, the Stone Clan, though powerful, did not casually waste precious treasures. The elder who held the beads was bleeding from the corners of his mouth, his body violently shaking, bones fractured in many places. He was thrown against a palace, causing it to collapse and dust to fill the air.
“Ziling, stop! We are all from the same family. There is no need to escalate the conflict and damage the harmony.”
A group of elders emerged from the dust, looking disheveled and covered in blood. They were both angry and shocked. This nephew of theirs was too powerful, almost matching his father’s strength.
“Damaged harmony? My son’s Supreme Bone was stolen, and his life is in danger, while that vile woman’s lineage is thriving. Is this not a breach of harmony?” Shizi Ling roared, his golden light blazing even brighter, illuminating the world as if a divine fire were burning. His voice was cold, and he shouted, “Although you are my uncles, none of you are my match. Except for that vile woman’s lineage, all of you should step aside. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless and unleashing a massacre.”
“You…” Some people’s faces showed anger.
“Ziling, let’s talk this over. Why not sit down and discuss it?” an elder advised.
“What is there to discuss? You have already made your decision. The wrongdoers are protected while the victims are left to suffer alone. Whether my son lives or dies is uncertain, but if you want me to sit down, then chop up that vile woman and Shizi Yi for me.”
“Preposterous! This is a decision made by more than ten clan elders. Are you going to defy us?” an elder shouted, holding a feather fan that whirled with wind and thunder. With a powerful wave, it unleashed endless purple light.
“You are Shizi Yi’s uncle,” Shizi Ling’s steps did not falter, as he continued forward. At this moment, with a long howl, his eyes emitted boundless golden lightning, also a form of thunder, but in gold.
With a crack, thunder roared loudly, filling the heavens and earth with lightning and causing a violent explosion.
The elder’s feather fan shattered. When the lightning receded, the elder was charred black, smoke rising from his head, his fate unknown. Then, a blazing golden beam shot from Shizi Ling’s eyes, sending him flying into a palace, where he did not rise again.
Everyone gasped in shock. Shizi Ling was too powerful, truly a prodigy of his generation. His methods and godlike demeanor made the older generation pale in comparison, unable to contend with him.
“Old Fifteen has truly raised a great son,” someone whispered.
Old Fifteen was renowned in the imperial capital for his strength, having shot down a primordial phoenix with two arrows. Who could achieve such a feat with their cultivation?
Because of this, he dared to kill the offspring of a bloodline purer than his own on the battlefield of the hundred clans. Many elders guessed Old Fifteen’s intention was to use the blood of a true pixiu (a mythical creature) to purify his grandson’s body.
Now, his son was equally formidable, shaking the imperial capital with his strength, unmatched by the older generation, like a golden war god. It was truly awe-inspiring.
One could say that if not for the emergence of Shizi Yi with his innate重瞳 (repeated eyes), possessing the potential of ancient saints and gods, Shizi Ling would undoubtedly lead the clan.
In reality, even with Shizi Yi, Shizi Ling’s lineage would still rise. No one could overshadow their brilliance, especially since his young son possessed the Supreme Bone by birth.
Unfortunately, this was the final outcome, a source of deep regret.
Boom!
Shizi Ling strode forward. Each step caused the ground to crack open with massive fissures, as if a golden giant were moving, with nothing to stop him.
“Bind!”
An elder shouted, holding a vine, a powerful plant-based treasure. It was blackish-brown but now shone brightly.
With a loud boom, the ground of the palace was penetrated. Vines surged up, emitting precious light, like dragon-like serpents, rushing towards Shizi Ling to bind him.
“Little Tao’er, anyone from your lineage who obstructs me will die!” Shizi Ling roared.
He moved with the might of a dragon and tiger, his golden hair suddenly expanding, each strand shimmering and glowing like the sun, making him dazzlingly radiant.
Boom!
The dense golden hair, like a waterfall, surged forward, smashing all the glowing vines and then hitting the elder’s treasure.
With a “puff,” the treasure vine exploded into ashes. This powerful display stunned everyone, making them shiver with fear.
“Get out of my way!”
Shizi Ling shouted, swinging his spear, sending blood flying as he directly impaled the elder, crashing him into a fake mountain, blood pouring out.
“Ziling, you have gone mad! Stop immediately!” a group of elders shouted.
“If seeking justice for my child is madness, then today I shall embrace madness,” Shizi Ling roared, his hair flowing wildly, bathed in blazing golden light, striding forward. No one could match him.
The golden spear swung, blood splattering over ten feet high. Anyone who dared to obstruct him was killed on the spot, making everyone involuntarily retreat, their faces pale.
“Deploy the symbols, lock down this area, and suppress him!”
At this moment, they had entered Shizi Yi’s territory. The people from this lineage, anxious, used precious bones and symbols to set up a killing array to suppress Shizi Ling.
“I want to see who can stop me,” Shizi Ling roared like a world-dominating demon, his killing intent soaring to the skies. The light in his eyes made the elders tremble with fear, all retreating. No one dared to meet his gaze; Shizi Ling moved with each step covering dozens of yards, crushing the opponent’s palaces into ruins.
“Suppress and kill!”
The precious bones glowed, and symbols intertwined on the ground and in the air, forming a heavenly net to trap Shizi Ling.
“Roar!”
Shizi Ling went mad, his wild hair flying, as if divine flames were burning. His body emitted boundless light, as if forged from gold, standing firm and swinging his spear with great force.
